Having a full blown flashback for the first time in almost 2 years after braving even mentioning my trauma in passing is most definitely related and so I will be completely shutting down from here on! trauma? What trauma? I just get nervous in empty rooms and around school uniforms and bald men for no reason obviously

Having abandonment issues w/ trauma and ocd and trust issues and paranoia is weird coz wdym im grieving someone who hasn’t even left me yet

I've just saw a post talking about trauma-less OCs and I just feel so weird reading that bc I agree on some level that it would be an interesting character and would like to see more. But I also feel like it's so dumb to feel disappointed that someone's oc has so much trauma when they are enjoying their character that was made for their happiness. It is so fun to see ur character struggle and seeing your character's reaction to the problem and that's why most ocs have trauma. Another reason ocs have trauma is bc the person writing them need an outlet for their emotions and it's so much healthier as it can help them process their emotions and what they want. This was actually how my 1st therapist tried teaching me how to feel emotions and process them when I was 6. And it worked, too well. It created maladaptive daydreaming.
