You KNOW Mepad is going full therapist mode on Trophy. Mepad looks at that man and thinks 'I can fix him' and that's when he starts being interested. Trophy would like something paying some damn attention to him, someone recognising him, yeah? Then Mepad slowly starts talking to Trophy about strength not meaning everything and how to deal with jealousy and such, and Trophy tolerates it because he's into Mepad now. The ol' switcheroo.

Trophy uses Mepad to watch sports. So many sports. He reads about sports history on Mepad (does not let Mepad tell anyone), he plays sports emulator thingies (fantasy such and such?), etc. There aren't a lot of other contestants who are particularly athletic, and he and Knife don't get along, so it would be nice for Trophy to be able to express and engage in his interest with someone! Even if Mepad is very much not built for sports. Though Mepad does refuse when Trophy tries to start gambling on sports on him.

It would admittedly be a bit hard for them to orient themselves in such a way that it's possible, but I like the idea of Mepad brushing and/or fiddling about with Painty's hair. It's so important to them, and I'd imagine they take quite good care of it, so not only is this a show of trust for Painty, but I'd imagine it's quite comforting for both parties.

This one isn't a headcanon, but rather more of a tiny au from canon events, but I think it would be funny if, when jailbreaking Mepad so she could use his teleportation, she accidentally makes his home button a bit ticklish. That's it, everything's the same otherwise, but every time she presses the button so she can teleport herself and Mepad he giggles a little bit. Chuckles. It tickles when she does it, he can't help it! It's very cute.
