"Not all of it."
Note: Yes. I totally made a gifset of my "Elrond was Sauron and that's the real story behind that kiss" crack theory.
I hesitate to call any fandom theories âdelusionalâ after Sauron proposed to Galadriel in season one and then she was kissed by Elrond in season two. You really donât want to take anything off the table when it comes to The Rings of Power theories.
Regarding the theory that we may see Sauron and Galadriel captured and delivered to Numenor in later seasons. So we may see an exciting opportunity to have them both together. Their past conflicts, tension and memories of them being together as Haladriel could lead to some cool moments, as theyâre forced to interact.
Just imagine them arriving to Numenor together but now he is not a random low man but the Dark Lord himself.
They are escorted together
and face Pharazon as they faced Miriel (will Galadriel behave the same way?),
share the neighboring cells. Good for them as the bars won't let them physically fight but have an open conversation.
Sauron tricks Pharazon to let him out.
Sauron rises to become Pharazon's trusted ally, much like Galadriel was to Miriel.
Sauron visits Galadriel in prison, offering a proposal with conditions for her release.
Sauron is extremely sexy with Galadriel. Their moments together are charged with sexual tension angst and magnetic attraction.
Two advisors?
Washed by the wave into the open sea where just one of them survives
The same weakness Hades had for Persephone can be said of Sauronâs for Galadriel.
There are so many similarities in their stories between Hades/Persephone and Sauron/Galadriel.
Could we see something similar play out in "The Rings of Power"? We know how the story ends, but there are many gaps that can be filled in with an interesting story, since the show decided to have Sauron and Galadriel meet and they have a history, I think they should just go for it. I truly believe it would be a compelling story to tell instead of sticking only to the stuff we already know.

I can't stop thinking about this moment where Nenya tumbles to Galadriel's feet (in a sequence of iconic LotR imagery). I wish we had an insight into her thoughts in this moment beyond her expressions.
--------
A ring presented as if in offering, temptation at her feet. A breath in which she bends slowly, almost kneels to retrieve it; a pace that denotes hesitancy, and yet, steadiness, certainty.
As she examines it at her finger tips, is she surprised to find a ring of power in her grasp? Or does she know this to be a moment of fateâa ring bestowed upon her despite her previous refusal? Does she imagine how it might have been presented to her differently? Imagine it offered to her from the hands of another?
"In my heart, I know the three rings are free of his influence."
"But are you?"
As she slips Nenya on her fingerâthe White Ring, the Ring of Adamant, the Ring of Waterâdoes she first perceive its light, or its absence of darkness? Does she feel the weight of it on her finger in her chest, her throat, like a flood of water in her mouth? Like the weight of the choice she made when she refused the Dark Lord? Does she feel as if she has been here before?
"The tides of fate are flowing. Yours may be going in... or out."
"I cannot let him in again. I... cannot."
"I felt it too."
"He never left, Galadriel."
okay so, I just woke up but here's my speculative theory so far:
S3 opens with a flashback to Galadriel and Celeborn
Galadriel is on a quest of her own to find allies for the elves in the war (aka find Celeborn)
Galdalf wandering around, he's very much so a wanderer
Arondir bringing Oropher and Thranduil into the war through a Greenwood storyline.
Disa and Durin succession storyline where they fight for the throne.
Balrog does Balrog things.
Sauron trying (and failing) to forge the One without Celebrimbor's help. Also, crying because he has no friends anymore.
Gil-Galad and Elrond at war (Siege of Grey Havens)
Elendil reconnecting with Anarion
Isildur arrives back in Numenor, gets held hostage.
Founding of Rivendell (i assume it will be already established due to the time jump)
Glorfindel shows up and is like wtf did i miss (i hope)
S3 ends with the One Ring being forged and Galadriel Finds Celeborn. Once the One Ring is forged, all three Elven ring bearers feel it and remove their rings immediately and sense that something is wrong. *cue mischievous Sauron smile*
Hmmmm it's interesting to me that there are more NĂșmenĂłrean guards and more sun emblems than elven guards. At first glance, it gives me the impression that they might be in NĂșmenĂłrean territory.
Iâve been contemplating the idea of Elrond and Gil-galad going to NĂșmenor, and here are some of my thoughts:
First of all, I think not having Elrond go to NĂșmenor would be one of the most notable missed opportunities, it would be such a juicy storytelling moment that I canât imagine McPayne wouldnât want to make the most of it. Therefore, the idea of Elrond going there to ask for help as a last resort doesnât seem far-fetched to me at all; in fact, I think it would be a good decision on the writersâ part.
Now, thereâs the question of Gil-galad. Until these photos came out, I hadnât even considered the possibility that the king himself might go to NĂșmenor in person. At first, I thought it wouldnât make much logistical sense like if Elrond and Gil-galad are both in NĂșmenor, then whoâs defending Lindon and Rivendell in the meantime? Because we know Galadriel is going to be off with Arondir on another journey somewhere else.
However, after thinking about it a bit more, it doesnât seem so far-fetched that a leader would travel to another land as a last desperate measure. âBut he already has Elrond, so his presence isnât necessary.â Youâre right, but I think thereâs something weâre overlooking and that is just how dangerous it would be. If after the time jump, the elves are aware of the situation in NĂșmenor, sending any elf there would basically be a suicide mission, even more so if youâre sending someone half the island might be related to. I can picture the king thinking, ''Iâm not going to put anyone in danger, if someone has to go ask these people for help, itâs going to be me''
Now this could be some part of Middle Earth we haven't seen yet and it's just the moment the elves meet PharazĂŽn for the first time soooooo we will see. Time will tell.
