TROLL HUNTER (2010)

I was already planning to rewrite Wizards in Trollhunters x reader (cause the flanderization, that version of Deya as a whole and a few other things).

Now I'm trying to figure out a balance so its more comic accurate but it keeps the structure of wizards.

I was thinking that in the rewrite that Deya was not the first Trollhunter. She is an outcast because she helped create the amulet (with Merlin) and worked with humans before other trolls were chill with them. So that outcast from the show van still stay.

The gang (Douxie, Claire, Jim, Steve and (Y/n)) drop in at the moment where there is no Trollhunter as the last one was recently murdered and the amulet had yet to choose the next champion.

And right before the kilahead bridge fight. The amulet chooses her and she decides its finally her time to stop running and fight for her people.

This Merlin went behind Arthur as he never told him about the amulet.

This is my best attempt to fuse the two but still make sense.

Kinda crosses over from found footage into mockumentary, as we join the titular hunter on his job of high-risk wildlife management. The trolls have to be taken care of to keep the people safe, despite the fact that they are ancient beings mostly just living their lives and it’s the encroachment of humanity in their environment that’s riling them up. The fact that bears are used as a cover-up, to our American eyes, is an obvious reference to the real bears that appear in the suburbs that destroyed their homes. And the work itself is dangerous, thankless, and heavily covered up. There’s no joy in the job, just a heavy feeling of doing what must be done even though we never should've gotten here.
