Other things I do while trying to ignore beat a fever: unauthorized book reviews! 🤓📚So some of you may remember my pal @tripperd's Kickstarter for his "Ruth the Tooth" book from last year - my copy just arrived and I was blown away by the production quality! It has been said that there is no sound in space, but that’s not entirely true. It has been described as a “chirp” and is produced by some of the solar masses that are turned into pure energy during a collision of black holes... I don’t know what that means either, but I read that outer space smells like welding and seared meats. Public notice!: I said earlier I was going to release these for the online mini show (See the Sound) this coming Thursday, but I’m finding there’s a lot more I want to do with the subject and I’m going to push the show a couple weeks to the 22nd. This past year was pretty wild. I made a tiny piano. I had 3 solo shows. I made a drum. I took a big road trip through the west. I made a beast hand. I went to Designer Con. I made an electric lap steel guitar. I did numerous art and craft festivals. I made a mountain. I have family, friends, gallery owners, show organizers, and dedicated customers to thank. Everything happens on June 15th! hunters: follow the hashtags and look for them in your area! follow your favorite area artists for previews and clues! Want to hide?: It Is open to ALL artists everywhere, even if you weren’t on the initial announcement. How To For Artists: 1. Make painting or sculpture or other art. If you are doing little paintings, I find it is best to add little popsicle sticks to bottom of them in the back so that the art doesn’t get dirty if placed near the ground. 2. Post preview teasers if you like. 3. Put your IG tag on the back and #shroomdrop #gameofshrooms if you can. 4. Plant or place art. Don’t hurt nature or property. If it rains, you Can hide inside friendly Indy stores as well, if you ask they’ll even help you often) 5.After you plant, take a few photo clues to post. I suggest a close up, then a wide shot, with a landmark of some kind visible (old church, sign post, etc) location tag helps if you are in a suburban area. Don’t hurt nature or property. 6.
