Trigger: goreIt was dusk, and a young Amodan had just woken up–this was quite normal, seeing as his species is nocturnal. He stretched and got out of bed, ready for the night. He had just finished making breakfast, when there was a knock on the door; no doubt it was his friend and mentor, Kelrei. He was so delighted to see her–he had been dying to show her one of his newest paintings, and special project in his basement.
Kelrei was three years older than Amodan, and was teaching him the proper way to act in their society. At the time, Amodan was just barely nine years old.
When he told her about his painting, and special surprise, she agreed to follow him downstairs, but the grisly scene Kelrei witnessed was more than she could bare. A man, around twenty years of age was strapped to a wooden chair, and had been torn apart, limb from limb. his carcass was dripping blood; all of his teeth, his eyes, finger and toe nails had been either pulled out, or split in half.
The girl vomited at the putrid sight, and began acting hysterically. She cried, and could say nothing but “why?” in between her sobs. Amodan quickly realized that his only friend thought that he was a monster. He knew that she wouldn’t want to play with him anymore, and he couldn’t have that.
While she turned to run, Amodan grabbed his second favorite toy–his hammer–and bludgeoned the back of her head.
Then he grabbed her unconscious body, drug it to his chair, removed the man, and began tying her up.
