Happy 8th birthday to the best dog 🥹
A little greyer round the muzzle now, but no less amazing than when we first met!
My name is Zoë (she/her) and I'm the proud owner of two German Shepherds.
Ziva is my oldest. She's a byb saddleback GSD and is fiercely protective of her personal bubble. She currently does AKC scent work, trick routines, and goes on lots of outdoor adventures. Though she used to be an assistance dog, one-too-many dog attacks and her progression into old age led to her retirement at 8 years old. You'll often see her pictured wearing fun muzzles!
Zadie is my youngest. She's a well-bred working line sable GSD and is a bit of a menace (said with love). She's my do-it-all dog; so far, we've done agility, disc, weight pull, herding, working detection (bedbugs), conformation, fastCAT, and dock diving. We are also a working assistance dog team and I'm grateful for her help everyday.
As for myself, I'm a self-proclaimed emo kid young adult. I'm bilingual and love to read, nerd out about medieval fantasy, and dance professionally.
I love talking to people, so don't be afraid to send an ask or DM! (Bigotry will not be tolerated, you will be reported and blocked immediately) Much love 🫶🖤
We've been practicing our tricks for our upcoming Trick Dog test.
Ollie will be expected to perform 10 behaviors selected from the list the AKC offers. Novice tricks are all pretty simple, with all of them being behaviors that I taught Ollie in his first year of life. So we're really just brushing up on skills he already has.
The tricks we plan to use are: retrieving a ball from 10 feet, getting in and sitting in a box, getting on a low platform, high-fiving and shaking hands, push-ups (sit->down transitions), spinning in a circle, nose targeting my hand, and planting a kiss on my cheek.
Should be a piece of cake!
Got a couple of olympians now!
The boys and I went to do a Doglympics pentathlon for Do More With Your Dog. We had a great time!

I filmed most of this forever ago and now he's actually way better at these tricks lol. But I only finally submitted this recently. So here's Arthur's intermediate trick dog video.
Y’all know I don’t just put dog sports in my bio yeah?
It is just a joy to work with Sammy.
No matter how dumb my idea seems to be, he is ready to have fun with me and gives his best.
(Pino had training to but did not filmed it. He too is a wonderful and hard working boy.)
