Beastmode ... . . . Team BMC's Romain Guillaume wasn't going to go easy on the Ironman Lanzarote, he wanted to retain his title from 2014, so exiting the 3.8km swim in 5th position, it it wasn't long - only 15km to be exact - to power up to 1st place position on the bike leg... Finishing with the second fastest bike split of the day, coming into transition behind team mate Bart Arnouts. It's been an incredible journey for #pro_triathlete @lucygossage - having taking a two year sabatical to go full time pro, Lucy is back working part-time in her Oncology profession - the training is less frequent but the sheer determination and fight hasn't changed. . Exiting the water as 6th female, Lucy biked her way into 2nd place on the 180km hilly and windy one-loop course, only succumbing to the running prowess of Corinna Abraham on the marathon.
