Gasp FUNNN I imagine lightning continuously nudges, or touches tree in an attempt to learn how to regulate whatever current that runs thru him, and he like goes "SRRY DIDNT MEAN TO SRRY SRRY SRRY" knowing full well he did, he actually internally excuses/justifies himself bc its in an effort to improve on his like. Idk zapping issue. And tree, while it still IRRITATES him 2 no end, takes it as a sign that lightning is trying 2 bond w him. And is rlly dissapointed when they bring it up later and lightning obliviously says w out thinking "oh i was just trying 2 get better at not zapping things on accident lol :P mb never shoulda done allat 2 u." N trees like "wow. Okay. Kinda . Wish i didnt know that now actually but thanks for telling me 👍 ." In the most pissed off salty ass tone ever. Like ok that wasnt a silly way of lightning wanting 2 be my friend he was basically just using me n being sneaky as shit. Cool no no im chill abt it i dont rlly care. In the past anyways. Idc. Its FINEEEE. and tree tries to occasionally poke fun at the situation HALF out of still being salty and and half out of trying to make himself feel better abt it. but its always at a rlly awkward time to be . Doing that. N it just confuses lightning and hes not sure if he's supposed to feel bad or think the joke is funny so he just kinda does both in a lowkey way. I am picturing all this its ridiculous.
