My friend was taking it to sleep, but was unable to sleep due to sinus issues. They tried everything to get rid of them.

Turns out, it was the trazadone all along! The sinus issues didn’t start the instant they started taking it, so they didn’t make the connection until I found out that 10% of people experience it. They stopped taking trazadone, and within days their issues stopped!

My friend will likely have to find a new insomnia medication, but for now, the exhaustion that built up over months of bad sleep is letting them collapse. They’re having less dreams, too. And they think they’re finally achieving REM. (Sleep medicine can prevent or reduce your REM cycle.)
