I'm insane about how the Travis Dermott said "ANYWAY...🏳️‍🌈"

There is precedent of the NHL folding like a wet paper towel when even ONE person is like "lol, I'll do it anyway". Really:

Literally ONE person does it anyway and 72 hours later, using pride tape is allowed again. Also, it looks cool as fuck:

And the pride jerseys (worn during warmups, so they could be sold for charity as worn by the players!) looked cool as fuck as well:

"Definitely some anxious moments where I wasn't sure how it would impact my career. I had crazy ideas going through my head like, 'Am I going to get kicked out of the league? A pro athlete who is married with a wife, and wants to be a role model for his daughter, in a world where she will grow up and he wants to earn respect, do the right thing. 💕

I am new to hockey and NHL politics, but as far as I can see, the contract on that team did not get extended and he is not in a widely-known or super-successful team anymore. 😭

Imagine him getting the same treatment our beloved Rachel Reid characters got from the NHL commissioner. 🤐
