As I waited at the Nara station where I had promised to meet my companion after one and a half hours of our own wanderings I waited on. I waited while the monks performed. I walked past them and took a seat nearby watching them from the angle you see in the video. completely engaged by this performance I failed to see someone approach. A young monk. as i broke away from the sight of the performance at saw him he immediately pulled out something from his bag and handed it to me.Β βOmiyage desuβ ( its a gift). he returned my thankful bow and moved on to another wanderer. I looked at what I was holding. A little pack of band-aids to heal by soul!? I discovered them today in my first aid box while packing for my trip soon which may really need these. ;-)
