An important thing to understand about transandrophobia is that trans men didn't spawn into existence passing as and being treated as men. We have a life history. Most of us spent our childhood and teenage years being treated as women and girls. That's why I'll never understand the TERF rhetoric that trans men are uniquely misogynistic, or the new 'transfeminist' take that transmen are unable of examining the basis against women and femininity that are learned by all people because we live in a misogynistic society.
I was a little girl, I was catcalled by old men, sexually harassed by peers and teachers, made to do unequal amounts of physical and emotional labor compared to my male family members, told my body should be covered at all times, told that my body is only useful for making babies for my husband.
Now that I present more masculine that life I lived pre transition doesn't just disappear.
I notice that teachers call on me more often, that bus drivers are nicer, that cis men respect me more, I am allowed more grace when I make mistakes, ect
And here's another thing Tumblr users don't get these individual privileges only exist As long as no one knows I'm trans.
TLDR transmen understand misogyny because we were impacted by it our whole lives and still affected by it if anyone clocks us
