i mean, i’m pretty comfortable and snug in my bed right now. i’m not sure there’s anywhere else i would rather be, lol. i’m gonna say my best friend’s bed, because i really miss her. i haven’t seen her in a long time and i miss the days when we’d snuggle up in bed together :3
12. your favourite pair of shoes.
i only wear either my chucks or my combat boots. i’m gonna go with chucks, since they’re a bit more comfortable and versatile.

i have quite a large kill count. most people assume that because i’m very introverted and a bit awkward that this number must be lower than most, but i’d reckon to say that it’s higher than, like, 90% of people. what can i say? i had a major whore phase :P

True life: I can't stop listening to King Kunta. I had to purchase it so I could listen to it before bed last night. I didn't listen to it on repeat the whole way to work this morning though. They are playing TONIGHT in Dallas, I probably shouldn't but i'm still trying to convince my girl to go, haha. I've noticed you're kinda punk rock, any female led punk or psychobilly recs?
DOOOO IT! they’re soooo good! they’re from toronto and they play here all the time, but i’ll still go out of my way to catch their show. as for female led punk bands, one of my favourite current ones is perfect pussy (the lead singer’s name is also meredith, so i feel like we have a connection :P). white lung is another good one that’s beginning to break the scene and i also dig childbirth-- they had a song a couple of years back called “i only fucked you as a joke,” which immediately caught my attention, bahahaha. “how do girls even do it?” is another good one by them, too ;)
Haha they are so good I kinda want to cry right now. I didn't even know I liked noise rock but damn did I need that shit in my life today. Now I'm just having an existential crisis cause I dunno if I like Wonderful Rainbow, Hypermagic Mountain, or Fantasy Empire more. I am fucking nuts. I hope you don't mind my unsolicited opinions/think i'm some fucking weirdo, cause well, actually I am, but goddamn it I love finding new music and sharing happy thoughts.
by all means, please feel free to share your unsolicited advice. i love hearing feedback from people on album recs, i love talking music, i love discovering new music. i went to school for this shit and now i do it for money, so i’ll never get tired of talking about music :)
noise rock is definitely one of those under appreciated genres, that’s for sure. i adore it, but i get that it’s not for everyone. super polarizing. but i always ask people to give it a chance and i’m glad you love it, too! these guys are pretty much the kings of the genre, in my opinion. i play them at work all the time and piss everyone off, lol. it’s my go-to “get the fuck out of the restaurant, i’m trying to close” music. other good bands worth checking out are metz, as well as boris (they’re kind of all over the place in terms of genre, but some of their stuff is awesome noisy) and melt-banana-- the japanese do some incredible things with noise. hella is great, as well as death grips-- two zach hill projects.
