TasteAtlas Live Travels: In Brasov, Romania 🇷🇴 Today we’re in Brasov, a medieval city in the middle of South Carpathians, Transylvania. Many people are still unfamiliar with the beauty of Romania, and Transylvania is still more famous for Dracula than great food and wine. Even though Transylvania is more suited for white wines due to cold weather, we couldn’t stop drinking the sensationally good Romanian grape variety called Fetească neagră. Brasov is bustling with beauty and life, and as we were keeping track of the checkered tablecloths, as we usually do, we’ve discovered Bistro de l'Arte, a fantastic traditional restaurant serving local dishes and microlocal ingredients produced by local farmers they proudly list. Try Mancarica, a local goulash with sheep sausages. In the evening, make sure to visit one of the greatest wine bars, the fantastic Le Sommelier Brasov with more than 500 different Romanian wines, or try Cafe Central Brasov for its cosy and friendly atmosphere. Tomorrow we leave for the beautiful Sighisoara, Romania. . ➡ Submit your local food and tag #tasteatlas . #foodventory #foodlovers #foodpic #travelblogger #travel #foodblogger #instafood #food #foodie #chef #tasty #nomnom #localfood #golocal #foodspotting #brussels #belgium #beer #trappistbeer #gaufre #moulesfrites (at Brasov, Romania) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxI1vViFoLQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=2wvnuzlnj6s6
