Liz x Hawkeye: "You're pretty when you're mad at me."
"Doc, I can't believe you're making me say this, but orders are orders."
"Indeed they are, and I believe the order specifically stated that all the nurses were to evacuate the camp," she said, before pointing to the framed doctorate on her night stand. "I am not a nurse."
Trapper rolled his eyes. "Don't be obtuse, you know what they meant."
"Well, if they truly meant to specify female personnel, I'm sure they would have. The army is quite exact about such things."
"Liz--."
"Pierce. I'm not continuing this discussion. You are going to be short staffed as is. Not to mention I am the only doctor here with nursing experience. I am a captain. This is my unit. I am staying right here."
Hawkeye let out a beleaguered sigh as he made eye contact with Trapper.
"She's certainly passionate."
"Makes you feel down right patriotic," Trapper quipped.
They gave each other a nod, just before Trapper bent down and threw her over his shoulder.
Liz let out a yell of shock, which the two men easily ignored.
"Got the bags Hawk?"
"Right here."
"McIntyre!" she snapped, barely getting her barings. "What do you think you're doing?! Pierce!!!"
"You know, you're pretty when you're mad at me."
