if i made a blog with my brain-friend specifically for transdead beings (this includes tips, rants about dysphoria, euphoria, etc) would you guys wanna see that? :-) its mainly for transdead beings because me and him are both transdead (hes a ghost, im more zombie-leaning) ((cant forget my vampires too.. any dead beings actually. if your undead or dead, its for you!))
Blehh more radqueer art! Transzombie girl!! Shes more of a mascot than anything, shes based on the flag by transhcdid! (Flag shown below)
I don't know if any of these were already done so uhm
Perma1945 or transzombie or transvampire
Tips??
PERMA1945, TRANSZOMBIE, TRANSVAMPIRE TIPS
for most of the time i do not accept requests like that just so y'all know
Perma1945
The biggest thing about 1945 isn't old-fashioned slang or black-and-white aesthetics, but the fact that everybody's life was just reshaped by the ending of world war II which i'll be focusing on, but also i will try to include the aesthetic of it
Because technology wasn't really advanced until the late 90s people used different types of communication, instead of searching your information online try: buying a newspaper or listening to the radio
Also you might wait: days for information, weeks for replies, months for someone overseas to come home. Also, start sending your friends letters!
Everyday habits looked different too
smoking being extremely normal socially, even among kids
formal clothing in public
hats being common
home cooking being the default
walking and public transport being central
People were generally expected to:
dress neatly outside the house
address strangers more formally
follow stricter social etiquette
respect age and authority more openly
The war was obviously everywhere, you can pretend that: your family members may have served, food shortages may have happened recently, rationing might still exist, neighborhoods may have changed permanently, and that you're grieving somebody
Like i said earlier, technology wasn't really advanced at that time, so your new ways if entertainment are: radios, cinemas, books, local events, and talking to people nearby
Other small details:
know your neighbors well
spend more time outside
repair things yourself
write things down physically
remember phone numbers and addresses
Transvampire
Depending on your age as a vampire, decades may feel incredibly short, trends come and go quickly so you don't care about them, remember events that people only know from books (you NEED to study history!! that would help affirm your identity + vampires are often depicted as knowledgeabe)
stand very still
appearing unexpectedly behind people simply because you gotta move quietly
forget about using modern slang, read books and become more eloquent
use older phrases occasionally
try not reacting strongly to injuries or danger
become nostalgic over buildings that no longer exist in your city
avoid attachments because humans die
grieve differently from humans
collect things
become attached to places rather than people
disliking unnecessary waste
hold eye contact longer than humans usually do
If you're a young vampire:
use hunger as distraction
become frustrated with rules
tell yourself repeatedly that you're not human, thus you need to try your hardest to fit into society
Transzombie
stiff movements
delayed reactions
awkward posture
pauses before changing direction
slightly uncoordinated motions
moving more slowly after long periods of inactivity
tilting head when processing information
forgetting to mimic normal human behaviors
holding uncomfortable positions without noticing
not reacting strongly to cold or discomfort
Depending on intelligence level:
confusion around social expectations
difficulty understanding emotions
fascination with things that used to matter to you
feeling disconnected from living people
Care less about your injuries && view your damage with curiosity, rather than fear
