The interview with Luca Marinelli
Marinelli is in Venice for "M - The son of the century", the series directed by Joe Wright based on the novel of the same name by Antonio Scurati, presented under Out of Competition. In the interview, the actor described the series where he plays Benito Mussolini as one of the most difficult challenges of his career. "At first, I was very scared," he confessed, explaining that coming from an anti-fascist family, he approached the project with many inner reflections. "I didn't come out intact," Luca Marinelli finally admitted, referring to the emotional impact of such a complex role. However, he stressed the importance of teamwork, especially in such a delicate and controversial project.
