I was wondering, what was Skyfires reaction to carrying starscream getting impaled? really dark question and sorry if you have already answer a similar question!

Skyfire was both devastated and frustrated. Devastated because when he agreed to transferring the newspark over to Starscream, he thought his conjunx would calm down and worry more about politics than war. It turned out not to be the case. Carrying didn't stop Starscream from fighting in the war and that's where Skyfire's frustration and ire comes from.

When he was called out of the lab he feared the worst. That he'd lost Starscream and the newspark they tried years for.

So he and Starscream argued. They argued and argued because neither were going to back down (god forbid Starscream admit he's wrong, ever).
