TRANS TIME TIPS

these are mostly present to past tips

watch media ( movies , shows , documentarys , ect ) about and / or from your time your transitioning to

look into fashion trends from that time ! most time periods had multiple styles and trends especially for hair and makeup .

research what was normal at that time especially slang / terms , ways of going about things , ect . take this with a grain of salt as many time periods had greatly offensive language / habits normalized !

watch makeup tutorials from / inspired by that time

look into history of the time period , especially for beings transitioning to times very long ago .

look into the ways relationships worked at that time ! not just romantic ones ( although very cool to know for beings in romantic relationships to add to rls ! ) but also friendships , family , and the way those where socially treated and what was normal .

adopting fashion , makeup , and hair styles from the time period can be very helpful aswel !
