And for a brief, terrifying moment, he thinks they're fertilized, even though Grace keeps trying to assure both Simon and himself that they've been very careful, so Grace examines the eggs, they're indeed not fertilized, and they come up to the conclusion that yes, this is in fact, Simon's period. So. Yeah. And maybe at some point Simon (guy who grew up in a post-apocalyptic environment with limited resources) goes "you know... I think read somewhere that eggs are a good protein source.🧍🏻" Grace's reaction probably depends on wether they have me-burgers yet or not.
