“robin! help!” robin’s bolting out of her bed and down the hall to evie’s bedroom at the first cry of her name. the door hits the wall rather roughly the way she swings it open, her chest huffing and puffing.

“what, what’s happening?!” robin says, panicked, and rushes over to the bed. her hands are immediately searching the girl for any visible injuries, pulling back to check for any blood.

“they’re- they’re all- just look!” evie is shoving her phone in robin’s face. robin squints and leans back to read what she’s showing her. dustin following her was to be expected. but will, mike, lucas, max, AND EL following her? okay now that’s something to panic about.

“okay…okay, okay! it’s gonna be okay! you can- you can block them all! make your account private and block them all,” robin suggests, nodding her head frantically like she’s solved it all.

“i can’t, then they’ll know something is up. i should’ve known this would happen,” evie says and tucks her knees to her chest. she rests her forehead on her knees, long hair obscuring her features. robin scoots next to her and wraps an arm around her shoulders.

“okay, maybe you’re right. but let’s think logically for a second. it was only a matter of time before they would think to follow you, especially after one of them came to visit and met you. he tagged you in a post,” she’s honestly surprised it took them this long to follow her in the first place, “and they wanted to see what you’re like. plus, dustin didn’t recognize you until he saw you in person. dustin of all people didn’t know who you are. that has to be a good sign, right?”

“i- i guess? i dont know, bobs, what if they figure it out? i mean, el has super powers for crying out loud!” evie whines and lifts her head from her knees.

“yes, she does. i wouldn’t be surprised if she already used those superpowers to find you and you know what? she hasn’t said anything to them. you would know it if she did. you know that,” robin says reassuringly. evie nods, her eyes brimmed with tears. she blinks and a couple slip free that robin is reaching up to wipe away with the sleeve of her oversized sweatshirt that was once dustin’s.

“you’ve got a point…okay…i can just private my account. so- so no one else can find out, right? Just…all of the important people in my life…dammit,” she sighs heavily, tipping her head back and lightly smacking her cheeks to try and calm down.

“yes, exactly! just private it and we’ll deal with the rest later,” robin agrees, rubbing her arm comfortingly.

“okay…nobody knows anything…they’re just- intrigued? okay…” evie mumbles to herself and pulls a desperate hand through her hair. nobody else needs to know. nobody else can get in. god, she’s glad jason is gone.

evie wasted no time in picking up her phone and switching her account setting to ‘private’. ‘need to know’ if you ask her.

“i did it! nobody else will get in…” she trails off at the ding of yet another notification. “oh my god…”

“what?”

“oh my god…”

“evavgeline. what?”

evie turns her phone to her best friend.

‘eddieisdead requested to follow you.’

This was meant to be for week one of kinktober but unexpected surgery has kind of put all creativity on hold for a bit 😅

Steves who’s gone through highschool so incredibly stealth and wants to just get to college without any problems but then he meets Billy and immediately gains the biggest crush on him but because Steve is stealth and just keeps staring at Billy because *crush* Billy assumes that Steve is homophobic.

And the following months are just Steve’s increasingly disastrous attempts of subtly trying to tell Billy that he’s not homophobic, he’s just a closeted transmasc with a crush who didn’t realise that he was gay until now. Happy ending obviously but a lot of Steve self inflicted angst first.

Ooooh, this is good!

I imagine their misunderstandings building and building until they hit a breaking point—stuck in a disasterous conversation where neither seem to be on the same page. They both feel frustrated and trapped, Steve because of his failing ability to communicate and Billy because he's lost patience for the seemingly homophobic attention he's recieving. The tension builds until finally, something that Billy says causes Steve to snap. Suddenly, all of the words he was previously trying to string together to explain himself are spilling out of his mouth, messy and rambling and rapid-fire. Steve's nearly out of breath and mostly in his head at that point, but Billy—Billy is just like oh. All of the built up tension is washed out of him in seconds, because suddenly everything Steve was doing makes sense. Maybe he laughs a little, because he's tired and it all seems a little bit silly. Or maybe he doesn't. But he does do his best to calm down Steve (who's kind of too emotional in that moment to process much) so that they can really talk about it all, since they finally are seeing things in the same light.

Trans Steve who grew up with a father who always wanted a son but refused to believe he actually had one

Trans Steve who socially transitioned because his parents started leaving him alone so they weren’t there anymore to stop him.

Trans Steve who starting in middle school hid the fact that he’s trans and told people he had a sister who went to boarding school and he used to live with an aunt

Trans Steve who used his dads money to get top surgery because he wasn’t ever home and didn’t know

Trans Steve who took years to realize he could still like soft feminine things and he wasn’t any less trans. Who had internalized homophobia and transphobia to work through

Trans Steve who threw his sweater at Eddie who immediately recognized the scars on Steve’s chest and saw that he wasn’t alone

Trans Steve and trans!Eddie bonding over the fact that they’re both trans and they’re not alone.

I feel that though lmaoooo. The first time I ever binded with an actual binder, and not shapewear I modified to use to bind my chest down, was after I moved back home from living for a short time somewhere else with my best friend.

I was so happy and proud to look at myself in the mirror, until I tried to take it off and I had to yell for my mom. 💀

My mom helped me get it off and was like, “HOW DID YOU GET IT ON BY YOURSELF TO START WITH?!”

Me: “I DON’T KNOW, I JUST DID, PLEASE GET IT OFF.”

She was dying laughing at me though because of the dinosaur arms thing going on and told me to take it slower next time, and also to please be gentle with my boobs even if I don’t want them.
