I’ve always adored trams. There’s something charming about the rustling noise making the ground shake under your feet. When I step in I feel as if I’m part of an old tale. I imagine the male passangers wearing dark hats, puffing on rolled cigarettes with dirty fingers, while the women look peacefully out the window, scarves covering their hair. In their lap they’re holding on to a small hand bag or perhaps they’re embracing their child in the seat next to them. It’s just another day, and no one notice that I’ve taken a step from 2017 to a time many years ago.
