Happy Valentine's Day! I read Trainwrecks - I intended to stick to one season, but then got pulled in and read the other two just to find out how these kids would cope. :P <3 The title is apt, but they're all doing their best!
I think my favorite part was the pinnacle of fake-dating (fake crushing?) in season three. Everyone was having such a TIME and Luna and Dimitri were on the outside with popcorn.
It's also really fun just to read something in this chronological setting - I was slightly too young to be doing any of the things they're doing at this time, but the world of chat rooms and fledgeling internet is nostalgic in a unique way.

oh my GOSH this made me so happy!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and read all 3 seasons!!!!!! This series has become very dear to me since it launched in 2024 and sometimes I wonder if anyone else on tumblr has really heard of it lol. I got into it slowly at first, but by the end of Season One I was totally hooked!!
YESSSSS season three was chaos!!! I was pounding my head against my phone sometimes lol. But in a good way! Season Four is gonna be INSANE though, based on what the author has teased. 👀👀
I too was a bit young to have experienced the same things that the Trainwrecks kids do, since I was only 2 in the year of Season One lol (2004). But the nostalgia grabbed me too--nostalgia for things that I didn't even participate in! I love that about the series. And the author has said that nostalgia, and questions about living in the past, is at the heart of the series.
