the thing about jester owen is that if he had brought out this character for literally any other series he would be so fucking iconic. he would be hailed as one of the man's best acted characters of all time. but because the series he was in wasn't a pow series and lots of people either just never watched it or straight up don't even know it exists means there are thousands of people out there who could be as obsessed with him as i am but aren't because they are unaware.

Owain in the au where Jester is ragebaiting him hearing him more than he sees him. The Jester likes to float around and pretend to stand on the tip of Owain's sword, and whisper ever so slightly louder that the cat o' nine tails. Telling Owain to attack the other monarch, or his own monarch, or turn his blade on the knight next to him. Vocal responses from Owain are becoming more and more frequent when they're alone.
Others will hear him when the Jester wants to be heard as well! Maybe an overlay of bells when Owain moves, which causes more jokes from the others about him being a cat. Maybe an echo of laughter when the creaking king says something cruel, familiar and yet so unsettling.
Maybe, if you're very lucky, you'll be able to see him! He'll claim to be visiting his 'dearest little cousin' knowing full well they are NOT related. If you ask Owain about his cousin, he'll know who you're talking about and be greatly offended that you ever believed they could be related.
I miss the Jester I should put him in Bannerfall some more later
