This past weekend was UC Davis graduation week and my family came up from Fresno on Saturday afternoon. This weekend was filled with SO MUCH FOOD. I must have gained at least five pounds these past two days. We went to Tower Cafe for dinner on Saturday night. This place was my favorite restaurant of the weekend but sadly I forgot to take pictures (I was too busy devouring the food as it came to our table). After my ceremony on Sunday morning (Father's Day), all fifteen of us headed back to Sacramento for lunch at Rio City Cafe. This place was packed and they were only taking reservations but they were able to seat us right on the riverfront. The pictures below are from Rio City Cafe. It was quite difficult to get pictures of 15 entrees so here are a few haha.
(Half-eaten) Sourdough Cheese Loaf
Spinach Salad (shrimp added)
Later on, we ended up at Bambu in Roseville for dinner. A few of the dishes we ordered were the herb and garlic noodles, woh won ton soup, half a roasted duck, Mongolian beef, Vietnamese salad, an eggplant and tofu dish, and a few other dishes that have escaped my memory. They had white chocolate dipped fortune cookies. So good.
Although I don't have a picture of it, Alana made the most amazing strawberry lemonade pie using this recipe at our girls night this past Monday that I just had to mention.
