Guy Gabon: I chose blue jeans for several reasons: blue jeans are the most polluting clothes and consumers of water for its manufacture; blue jeans are the most worn garment in the world, so jeans are a universal symbol of globalization, the standardization of the world that crushes the singularities and identities; an been given jeans that were donated, that were worn, tells stories of life, stories of migrations that meet, intersect without knowing each other on an artwork.
