👋 hello!! for show and tell, here are some photos I took of things that I think embody the boyre aesthetic - taking these photos was really fun!!

the first photo is of my sackperson toy inside of a scale replica of the pod from LittleBigPlanet that I made! you can't tell from the photo, but the pod itself is almost half my size!! (though, admittedly, I am short...) the series is/was my little brother's FAVORITE, so I have really good memories of it growing up :)

those are the first 3 Indiana Jones movies on VHS!! I found them all at different thrift stores, costing me about $1.40 total (one store charged $1 for a single tape, another store sells 5 tapes for $1 lol) I set up my family's old VCR in my room after repairing it last year, and it's been SO LOVELY to have!! it really helps bring me into little space when I watch a tape, which was been So Nice!!

that's my Gizmo plush!!! my mom found him at a thrift store, where he was found with no eyes - so she made some with buttons and gave him to me!! I love him!! and I love how silly and scruffy he looks, I think it just adds to his charm! he's my very own mogwai <3

the Hot Wheels* are only a small portion of my full collection, chosen specifically because I thought they'd look nice all together here. special shout out to lime jello car, it's sooo fun to play with AND fidget with, bc it's short enough that I can spin it by it's wheels inbetween my index finger and thumb!! I also appreciate how silly it is 👌

*I know that there's a Matchbox, a Greenlight, and Jackson Storm - but they are all Hot Wheels in my heart <3

the Batman shirt is one of my many Batman shirts in my wardrobe (I have 11 different Batman shirts 😔) BUT! this one is my favorite! the emblem is textured in a neat way with extra fabric and I love how it pops out! the surrounding art is nice too, and I just!! I love it!!! I've had it since I was 10, I think, and just happened to never outgrow it 😅 also!! eagle eyed viewers may spot the bat-shaped adult pacifier resting on top!! I just got it this week and LOVE IT!!!

my bottle cap collection!!!! I've been collecting bottle caps since I was.. 13? I think? so for over 10 years now! it used to live in an M&M tin, but it quickly outgrew it SO! I moved it over to a cigar box - more specifically, a milk chocolate cigar box, lol. I got it in high school for a silly thing about the 1920s and just knew it would be perfect for my bottle caps!! I was even able to organize it! they're in alphabetical order!!

those are some Totino pizza rolls! to be completely honest, as a tween I actually favored the pepperoni Hot Pockets..... so much so, in fact, that I'm sick of them and can now only eat the cheese-only ones, rip. I can still have the pepperoni pizza rolls though, probably because whenever my mom picked them up when I was a kid, my dad would eat ALL OF THEM before I had any 😭 thankfully, here's the photographic evidence that they CAN survive in the freezer long enough for me to eat them, and man, they really are tasty!! I like how they crisped up in the air fryer, a really nice improvement over microwaving them tbh

the Ghostbusters toys were photographed last Halloween, but included here bc I love them so much :) I usually tend to collect the more detailed action figures produced, like Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black Series, or Neca, but instead of picking up the Plasma Series for the GB, I just really liked the vibe of these Fright Feature figures!!! they're very charming, as I think the designs are a nice mix of the movies and how everyone would've looked if likeness rights weren't a concern for The Real Ghostbusters cartoon - they're also just neat toys!!

the photo of the Terminator 2 trading cards are from my Trapper Keeper that keeps all of my trading cards!! I have a bunch of vintage cards that I've picked up over the years! (you can even see the backs of my Ghostbuster 2 cards if you look closely) Terminator 2: Judgement Day is one of my favorite movies ever though, ever since I saw it when I was 7, so these cards get to be in the moodboard, lol
