You know, I would still have some respect for Andred if he had talked to Leela and explained that he's still alive any of the many times during these four episodes the two of them were alone and unobserved. Instead of staying in character and being an absolute dick to her.
Or if he'd entrusted her with his plans before his meeting with Narvin.
And what makes it even worse, is that Leela suffers a bit of a character regression between The Invasion of Time and Zagreus / Weapon of Choice. She's less aware of how Gallifreyan society works, or what words mean, K9 says in Square One that she can't read (or at least not well).
And from a Doylist perspective, this can be explained as bad, racist, writing. Which, fair enough, it is. But on a watsonian perspective... how long has Leela been living on Gallifrey now, with Andred? For longer than Romana has been president, I'd assume, and she got captured and was gone for 20 years. Was she just Andred's exotic housewife during all this time, removed from society? She was curious during her time with Four, learning how to write even! I don't believe she'd suddenly lose all of her curiosity like that. Did Andred just not engage with her on any level beyond “this is my hot wife from another planet”? Did he not try to help her fulfill her curiosity, get better at reading and writing? Did they not talk about Gallifreyan politics, a topic that would have affected Leela personally, with all of the xenophobia / racism and her being a human? What kind of terrible husband was Andred, and how did Leela keep loving him for so long until his death / regeneration?
Rest in piss, you won't be missed. Someone please tell me I don't have to keep dealing with that fucker in S2...
I really want to get inside Andred's mind throughout pre-Gallifrey / Gallifrey series 1. How he has to pretend to wear a dead man's skin and watch his wife grieve for him, whilst becoming more and more confused with who he is meant to be. How deep he has to go under-cover and pretend he dislikes Leela, despite the fact he completely loves her.
Did he flinch when he claimed he was Torvald in the Inquiry? You could clear hear moments where he nearly breaks and gives in to Leela before A Blind's Eyes.
I can’t stop thinking about torvin, but as a thing that only happens after Andred takes over torvalds life. Like you’ve just killed a guy and are now living his life and his personality got a little mixed up with yours and your confused and probably a bit scared, so of course the next logical step is to fuck his boss

An Andred Torvald/Narvin Moodboard
Arkadian: I hate Pottery Barn too! They kicked me out of there just because I sat on a bed. Torvald: You took off your pants and climbed under the sheets.
Gallifrey sticker sheet #3! Venturing into (semi) headcanon territory. Featuring Darkel, Torvald, Andred, Omega and Arkadian.
I knew exactly what Omega was going to look like in my style. I knew exactly what was going to happen. And yet...
