And they're right.

Brown Butter Tortellini with Spinach. Made this for dinner last night. It was from My Fitness Pal. Been a while since I felt like I really cooked like this. It had cheese tortellini, frozen peas, butter, tomatoes, spinach, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. I was surprised there wasn’t any garlic. I wanted fresh tortellini, but there weren’t any plain ones. I liked that it used frozen peas. Didn’t have to do anything with them. I used a little more butter than what was in the recipe. It called for half a tomato, so I thought a small Roma one would be fine. Still had to cut it in half. I tried to chop up the spinach as best I could. I think I used a little less than what it said. It said to use 1/4 of a lemon’s juice and zest. I think I used more of both. I used quite a bit of both salt and pepper. I tried to brown the butter. The way it was in the recipe, it wouldn’t have gotten to that point. It started to turn a golden color with what I was doing. I was too nervous to go further. It smelled interesting. It made a lot. It was supposed to be for 2 dinners. I think it made a little more. I had a little less than a serving. I’ll get to enjoy it again tonight. I added some parmesan to what I had. It enhanced it. I had a cherry cream soda with it. Tried Baskin Robbins Pralines n Cream Ice Cream Bar for dessert later. It didn’t really taste like pralines.
