Winter Torii gate
Finished YCH I did for AzurFox last year. I really love how the colours came out in this one ^.^
Torii Gates Nestled Within the Urbanscape
The large vermilion torii gate is the primary gate marking the main pathway (now an urban street) to a Shinto shrine.
The secondary torii, which is much smaller and made of either stone or concrete, stands at entrance of the shrine’s courtyard. Just beyond the torii is a yakuimon gate with a gabled roof. Behind this gate is the Shitaya Shrine——a local Shinto shrine with origins tracing back to the year 730, making it one of the oldest inari shrines in Tokyo.

“The ginkgo tree is from the era of dinosaurs, but while the dinosaur has been extinguished, the modern ginkgo has not changed. After the atomic bomb in Hiroshima, the ginkgo was the first tree that came up. Japanese Mythology & Deities - The gods of heaven and earth & All the deities –
The explanations of the Japanese gods are extremely numerous, complex and diverse, and difficult to understand, as is the case with the "eight million gods". The word "eight million" does not refer to a real number, but to a large number, and this is where we find the characteristics of the Japanese gods. Japan is not a monotheistic country, but a polytheistic country. Depending on how you look at it and how you count it, there are 321 gods in the Kojiki, one of the oldest texts in Japan. The Japanese gods are legally divided into two groups: Amatsukami (heavenly gods) and Kunitatsukami (earthly gods).
Amatsukami are the gods that reside in the high heavens, or the gods that descended from there, while Kunitatsukami is the gods that originally resided in the country of the reed field (the country on earth).
This section is divided into four parts: "Major Gods in the Chronicles," "Gods in the Sacred Mountains," "Historical People Who Became Gods," and "Gods in Our Lives”.
New pattern! People have been asking for a pattern of our kitsune character for years, so I finally got around to making one.
