I’m learning things about myself, like, I really do like super-saturated images. Good to know.

Hello! I love your CS screenshots! If I may ask, what specific tools did you use to edit the one CS photo of yours? I've been inspired to do the same with some of mine. (PS: I love your blog and it's rapidly becoming one of my favorites. ;_; <3)
Hi there! Thank you, I’ve enjoyed taking them. I find it quite a bit more difficult to get screenshots I like from C:S than other games, but people keep making better visual tools for it so hopefully it’ll be possible to take better ones eventually.
Do you mean this shot? If so, I used Fotosketcher, a free app that has a bunch of arty filter presets you can apply, and you can edit them to make your own. It’s a bit fiddly, and I haven’t found a way to change the size of the preview window (it’s probably locked because it would slow down the process), but there are some good effects in there. There are a couple of other programs I’ve used to do similar. I’ve used Topaz Simplify on some of my Dragon Age: Inquisition shots (e.g. 1, 2, 3), and there’s also Alien Skin’s Snap Art but I’m yet to find settings I like in that one.
I just wish I was talented enough to actually paint like that from scratch!
