Dear fellow DaiKiho fans, what are your favourite DaiKiho’s moments :-) ? (I would love to know)
I have many, one of them being their final duet dance from “Phantom” (adaptation of “The Phantom of the opera” by Mr Yeston and Mr Kopit, based on Mr Leroux’s novel)...
First, probably because I had the chance to attend a live performance of it: the whole musical was filled with many emotions, beautiful singing especially on Nozomi-San (Erik/Phantom), Maaya-San (Christine) and Maisaki-San (Carlotta)’s parts, and very lovely chemistry for the top combi.
And when the duet dance started, with Nozomi-San singing “Home”, and Maaya-San appearing from the depths of the stage...it was mesmerizing. It felt like they were floating and sliding on the stage rather than stepping on it...
Second because their duet dance outfits were red, which is my favourite colour, and also a reference to one of my favourite scenes in the musical (”My true love”)
Third thanks to the choreography, which is deeply connected to what happens in the musical...the loveliest moment being at the end, when Erik hugs Christine a first time and let her go with a very distraught and sad facial expression (which still refers to “My true love” scene for me), only to be huged a second time by Christine.
Those incredible chipmunks right here
See? Who’s the otokoyaku uh?
Finished drinking it all before you Tamasama.

“Dai/Kiho” favourites part 2
I don’t think that moment needs words because somehow they wouldn’t do it justice...light, happiness and love in their essence.
Whenever my heart needs to be warmed, I watch this.

Hmmm. Comparing to the late Asako era - that time they _did_ do showcase several girls, but I always thought there was a feeling of dissatisfaction.
This top star system is a weird thing - it is very attractive to have these specific figures, all these rites with special costumes and parade order, and at the same time when the fixed order is too fixed, other actresses seem to be wasted.
So it feels to me that Hankyu also sees that, and from time to time makes efforts to shake it up - that junior top thing with MasaMiri, the no top musumeyaku thing, also the sanbante position seems much less fixed... but they always seem to return to the top combi.
