Toon Patrol yumeshippers come get ya'lls juice
Animaniacs (The Low Budget Revival)
Motivated to talk about an AU i started back in 2024, take a world where cartoons and humans coexist (like Who Framed Rodger Rabbit)
It's been 10 years since the Warner's peak as child cartoon Stars, Yakko (24 years), Wakko (21 years), and Dot (19 years) aged out of their family friendly demographic and can't find work as adult cartoons due to their reputation as family cartoons coupled with their looks not fitting the current climate of adult cartoons
So the trio find work elsewhere in Hollywood taking on roles in reality TV, commercials, hosting ostentatious events with celebrities all over the world until they find what sticks, Yakko starting his own talk show, Dot hosting and judging fashion and talent shows on TV, and Wakko taking up being a musician with.....a catering side gig that he may or may not get kicked out of when his clients find him eating everything...
Old But Gold
Older toons regarded as acting royalty, the big guys, in Bendy's case: an older toon who only hit his mark when starring in (and performing all his own stunts in) a videogame, when his debut role became mainstream, quickly rising to fame for creating a new niche for all toons alike, Bendy became a staple next to the classics
Cup Trio
Following the footsteps of Bendy, the cup trio (Cuphead, 22 years, Mugman, 20 years, Miss Chalice, 25 years) starred in their own video game, performing death defying stunts and acting in a show of their own only a few years after, that won the hearts of children and adults, reminding many that toons can be for all ages
Last And Definitely Not Least
Hailing from a family of movie monsters, regarded as the unfortunate ugly ducking of the family, Vilette is thought of by most as a toon but posses the abilities of a classic film monster, and for that is split in the entertainment industry and left it all behind to lead a secret life of thievery....until meeting the right (and equally mischievous) influence they needed
I'd love to see others draw these designs, I'll have more of the cast drawn when I find the time! Anything related to this AU can be tagged #Animaniacs: The Low Budget Revival!!
Toon Patrol Backstory Headcannons!
They are here. The weasels' backstories, five different stories of the Toon Patrol.

Credit for inspiration goes to @mosaic-marshlands, @just-kit-ink A.K.A. @thescottishmermaid and @slashingdisneypasta A.K.A. @wicked1will0sparkles. Please go check out their own wonderful content! ^^
WARNING: Contains lots of angst, murder, death and tragedy, alcoholism, forced living in an asylum, abandonment, mentions of child neglect/abuse, the weasels have been through so, so much they need hugs đđđđđđ
Smartass, Slithy, and Stupid:
OK, so, these three are actually half-brothers (three brothers from two different mothers). Iâve been working on a new headcannons post for the weasel trio Slithy, Al, and Doofus in the sequel comic âRoger Rabbit: The Resurrection of Doomâ. I still need to finish it, so sorry if I confuse you guys đ Their father, Robert Lander, was once a high-ranking wiseguy who his sons looked up to like how Henry looked up to Jimmy in Goodfellas, now a complete deadbeat. That, and a cheating bastard. He was married to Smartassâs and Slithyâs mother, Deb Battaglia, a sassy, hardworking, tough-as-nails bartender with a sweet side. Her storyâs not much different from Cinderellaâs and Snow Whiteâs; she was hated and envied by her own stepmother and two stepsisters because of her charm and beauty, and they all treated her like nothing more than a servant. Eventually, she found her Prince Charming and theyâve lived a happy lifeâŚ.but not for long.
And then thereâs Stupid's mother, Lady Lily Rose Newman, a former cabaret singer who sang at a nightclub in a seedy part of New York he frequented, now a bitter, greedy âpawn shopkeeperâ. Sheâs also similar to Madame Medusa in The Rescuers from appearance to personality, you name it. Slithy and Smartass were planned children. Stu wasnât. And Lily Rose is the reason why he doesnât like to be called Frederick.
Smartass, deep down, is a mamaâs boy and he is viciously protective of her. He loves his mother dearly, and he will whoop someoneâs ass if they ever talk shit to or about her. Heâs gotta be the Toon equivalent of James Cagney. Thereâs no way in hell itâs not canon. And Slithy is protective of her, too. In fact, thatâs one of the things they have in common; they love their mamas. Neither of them will ever admit it, but they once looked up to their father. After all, he taught them the ways of the wiseguy life in the Big Apple, and how to survive as a weasel. Everything they knew, he taught them. But all the respect and admiration went down the gutter when the boys found out their father not only cheated on Deb but also conceived another child and left him on their doorstep before taking off. Good riddance.
Lily Rose only wanted one thing. Wealth. During Stuâs childhood, Lily Rose spent a lot of time trying to obtain a fortune in her pawn shop, which was difficult knowing how hard things were in the city. Her main goal, however, was to find a famous, but rare gem known as the âAngelâs Heartâ. Like the âDevilâs Eyeâ, it was said to be hidden in a dark pirateâs cave located in a Louisianian bayou, and Lily Rose was hellbent on getting that diamond, even if it means putting her sonâs life in danger. The tide was only stable for a short amount of time, and he was very frightened. At first, sheâd gently âpersuadeâ Stu to push past his fears and keep trying, then he eventually ran away from âhomeâ after a confrontation that ended horribly only to bump into his father â who promptly dropped him off with Smartass, Slithy, and their mother before he ditched them all. Raise three sons?? Hell, nah. So Smartassâs and Slithyâs (now Stuâs) poor mother is left on her own working several jobs and taking care of two angry, betrayed boys as well as a hurt, sweet child who eats everything in sight with a broken heart. She does the best she can and has three very grateful sons for it.
Poor, sweet Stu is all torn apart because of this. Itâs complicated for him, even after heâs grown up. He always loved Lily Rose and did whatever he could to make her happy, despite the horrible things she said and done. And he tried his best. The cave was cold, dark, and unpredictable, but he really did want to find her diamond. But thereâs no denying that with them, he felt much safer and loved. Deb, God bless her soul, never once made him feel like a burden, more hers than anyone elseâs, and sheâs fiercely protective of him.
And Smartass and Slithy, in their own ways, love and protect their baby brother like how Tom and Adam love and protect their sisters đ
Greasy: Â Â Â Â
As we know, Greasy grew up in one of the toughest streets of San Juan, which serves him well with his street-smarts. He grew up part-time at home and part of the time on the street, as well. This is how he learned to be so intuitive and manipulative with others while developing a knack for dealing with bad people. Meanwhile, he has a royal bloodline like the Twisted Toonz Twins; a bloodline of thieves and swordfighters led and ruled by his parents, two legendary outlaws. A deadly beauty whose charm was matched by her infamous thievery, and a fearsome swordsman who many cowered at the mention of his name. Their shared adventures became a legacy, then later an empire of their own.
Like the Lander brothers, Greasy loved his mother Serafina. But he also has a younger twin sister, a kind-hearted, joyful girl named Felicidad who he is LETHALLY protective of. Sheâs the only good part about his childhood besides their mother for her own kindness and generosity. Unlike Greasy and the rest of the family, Felicidad wanted to make an honest living. Sheâs kinda like Robin Hood who only stole from the corrupted rich and gave to the poor, but she wanted to be a flamenco dancer like Serafina and travel around the world. She loved helping the kind people in her community and looked after them every day, even on the weekends. She may be a princess of thieves and swordfighters, but she loved her people as she loved her family đ
Despite their differences, the twins were family. And Greasy loved her as a big brother and will fight tooth and claw to protect her from anyone who harms her. What do I mean by that? âŚ. This is where it gets dark.
Smartass and his brothers arenât the only ones with a terrible father. The man Greasy was spawned by was a MONSTER. His name was Belisario, a grim shadow of the legend who he once was. A cruel, merciless bastard who made it his personal mission to make the twins suffer after a horrible tragedy that took their mother away when she was sadly killed during a heist gone wrong right in front of Felicidad. Their father fell downhill fast after that, then he started drinking. And just like Darry, Belisario took his anger, pain and anguish out on poor, sweet Felicidad for Serafinaâs death. But despite it all, he never once laid a hand on her when Greasy was around.
Speaking of which, Greasy saw that Belisario was no longer family, so he stepped in as not only Felicidadâs older brother, but also her new mentor. He taught her how to defend herself and would go out of his way to ensure that she would be safe even while heâs working to earn enough money to escape. Until that night.
One very late evening, Greasy was on his way back to the hellhole of a house after work when he heard a gun go off and he ran into the house to find his sister holding up her sword against Belisario, whose wrath had finally descended into madness. His eyes were wide with hatred and insanity, armed with a revolver and his own dreaded sword that claimed the lives of many.
All Greasy could see was red. On the walls, on the floor, on the ceiling. It was everywhere.
Fleeing to Los Angeles, Greasy had to make a new name and living for himself and his sister. He continued working dodgy and shady jobs to earn a quick buck and provide for Felicidad while hiding from the cops and tracking down the bastard who killed their mother. Once he found him, he broke into another violent, bloody rage and avenged his mother in the most gruesome, brutal way possible.
And after he met and joined the Patrol, he never thought much about his past again. He finally found a job that settles with him and somewhere to stay still (A.K.A., a place to feel relatively safe and to put his skills in a job heâs really good at), and he can finally trust someone who will help him and Felicidad get settled into the new city, their new lives. As much as they all drive each other insane, Greasy trusting his sisterâs safety with these maniacs (a short James Cagney wannabe, a walking potato armed with a nailed baseball bat, a lunatic whoâs got a headful of porcupine quills and a chain-smoking cowboy who breathes the smoke of his own cigarettes like oxygen) takes so much weight off his shoulders compared to the monster of a man who he once called âPadreâ. And they actually notice him as more than a tool to use. Sure, heâs a sleazeball, but for some reason it feels better when Stupid enjoys his cooking or when Wheezy rolls his eyes at him for saying something sleazy than having some gang leader who will backstab him praise him for keeping a close eye on a potential traitor. Foreshadowing, huh? Â Â
He and Felicidad live their own lives, but they always celebrate DĂa de los Muertos in loving memory and honor of Serafina together. They also celebrate each otherâs birthdays, Motherâs Day, and the anniversaries of their motherâs passing. They will never forget. Never.
Psycho:
Someone (ahem, Rainbows đ) shared a post about the Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin and theorized Psycho being an electric engineer before joining the gang. And honestly, that explains why Smartass would entrust him with certain tasks regarding technology and/or electricity (putting Benny the Cab out of âcommissionâ, cutting the wires for the lights during sneak-attacks, etc.). I really like the idea! đđ
Psychoâs familyâŚ.was nothing but horrible. For real, his story is like Bojack Horseman. His father, Lawrence Fleischer, was a coward, a liar, and a scumbag like any other in the book. But while Butterscotchâs dream was to be a well-renowned novelist, Lawrenceâs dream was to be a remarkable engineer and entrepreneur of his own business while holding a mutual spite for the world. Thatâs how he met Psychoâs mother, Opal Bijoux. His dreams and the resentment they both shared promised her the liberty she needed to get away from her family and live the future she always wanted.
However, his promises turned out to be a bunch of lies. And so were his wedding vows.
Opal is just as a cause for all of Psychoâs troubles as Lawrence. She was a cynical, envious, jaded and spiteful heiress from a high-class, privileged yet severely dysfunctional family of goldsmiths and jewelers who created and invested in jewelry, mostly pearls. This line of work earned them quite an opulent reputation, and in her familyâs eyes, money, status, and reputation are everything. However, like Beatrice, Opal was sharp-minded and rebellious in her youth, caring more about her educational interests, ideals and the social issues in her own timeline rather than money and reputation.
Until she met Lawrence and married him out of defiance while pregnant.
Not only that, but Lawrence failed to help her escape from her familyâs iron grasp, and he found no success in being an engineer or entrepreneur by the time Psycho was born. Instead, Lawrence had to work a high-paying job at the Bijoux family company which did earn them enough money to buy better estate, but their marriage remained toxic, abusive, and broken.
Unlike Lawrence, Psycho had a genuine talent of engineering, as he once learned how to operate a lightbulb. When Lawrence found out, he furiously forced his son to study electrical engineering, not to pursue a career but as punishment for âstealing his dreamsâ. And Opal could care less.     Â
Yet, through it all, Psycho yearned for Opalâs love and approval like Stu and Bojack did with their mothers. He tried as hard with Opal as he did with Lawrence, who made his own resentment of him crystal clear, and he wanted to meet her expectations too. He wanted to be good enough for her.
Sadly, all his attempts were futile. No matter how hard he tried, she was unimpressed. And she was still resentful of her own son for âruiningâ her. Which eventually made him snap. Upon a late evening, he was in his room reading a novel about parrots when Lawrence returned home while on another of his drunken benders. He hurled so many monstrous insults, then ordered him to âget off his ass and fix the hallway lightbulbâ before throwing the glass bottle at him, which he did dodge. Psycho blinked, looked at him in the eyeâŚ
âŚand Opal found her deadbeat husband laying on a pool of his own blood. Barely conscious, but still alive. And standing over him holding a barber razor was her son, completely covered in blood and wearing a manic smile. He couldnât remember what happened after that. He remembered seeing her petrified face before passing out, and then he woke up in a dark, unfamiliar place. It was cold. It was loud. And it was really scary. He called out to his mother for help, but she wasnât there. A man walked up to him through the hatch of a metal door and told him heâs been sent to an asylum. Opal is gone.   Â
She left him there to rot. Alone.
That cold-hearted bitch.
After he figured it all out, Psychoâs face became hard as stone and all the love he had for her vanished. After everything that happened, after everything he had done for her, how could she do this? He didnât want to send her letters, or hope for her to visit him.
She didnât.
When he got out after he escaped, he just⌠didn't give his parents another thought. He never wanted to see Opal again, not even go after or hurt her for abandoning him like that although that sounds very tempting. He never even wanted to see Lawrence again either, if he survived. As far as heâs concerned, his family is nothing more than strangers or the ones that drew him. And thatâs that. Heâs just him. Psycho. Not Charles Paul Fleischer.
As we all know, Stu is Psychoâs best friend! đ¤ Big warm teddy bear that keeps him warm during the winters 𧸠Donât tell anyone this, but he puts up Stuâs and the othersâ stockings for Christmas đ Despite all their constant shenanigans including their rivalry, thereâs no doubt that heâd stay by their side since the day they met. They found him. They took him in. They chose him.
Wheezy:
So out of everyone in the gang, Wheezy is the only one who has a stable, healthy relationship with his family. But he is still the neurotic, chain-smoking criminal in the family. Like theyâre any better, lol 𤣠And besides, they have a few secrets of their own.
I love the idea of him being related to the two grave-digging weasels Charley and Harold in Mickeyâs Christmas Carol! đ Theyâre his cousins and tease the absolute hell right out of him every time they see him đđđ Theyâll snatch his cigarettes out of his pocket and drop them just to watch him lunge out to grab them before theyâre wasted because they know he canât help it đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł Theyâll also tell on him to his aunt, their mother, the moment they find something (like if he got a girlfriend, or the Patrol did something chaotic that got in the news, etc.). Like, âWe love you, cuz, but we canât help it! Your life is a fuckinâ trainwreck, and we need a new telly.â
Heâs also related to Bill, the Chief Weasel and leader of the weasel gang in the 1983 version of Wind in the Willows. Heâs Charleyâs and Haroldâs brother, and also one of Wheezyâs mentors. Bill taught him how to steal, how to outmaneuver and find an escape, etc. And yes, he and his gang also love to tease and hassle him just for shits and giggles đ Like Charley and Harold, theyâll yoink his cigarettes and yeet them somewhere out of Wheezyâs reach 𤣠Lmao, theyâll sneak up on him and swipe his box of smokes every time he turns around like that chase scene in the 1949 movie, then heâll chase them all around the house for his beloved cigarettes while theyâre laughing their asses off! đ đ¤Ł
Wheezyâs family household is run by his aunt Petunia and uncle Wyatt Steele, who took him in and raised him like one of their own after something happened to his parents Lapis and Dalton Foray. They do love him, but they have words about his lifestyle like theyâre not living a life of crime too.
Now, Petunia and Wyatt ruled an empire together, a bootlegging empire. Petunia would sometimes have to take over the reins while her husband goesâŚ.out of town. But they handle other aspects of business (bookkeeping management, supply of product, etc.) while trying to keep it a secret from Prohibition. While Petunia frets about her nephew, sheâs not an overbearing mother figure; sheâll see her sons sneaking the cigarettes out of his pocket before he even notices and not say a damn word, but when it comes to his health and relationships âŚ. She does still treat him like heâs living with her đ Not only that, but she wants to set him up with decent people.
âYouâre so handsome, Cobalt! Please, let me find you somebody. How about Flora at the flower shop? She just got her degree and broke up with that boyfriend of hers. Or how about Simon? He got out of jail and went steady at the auto shop! I just think ââ âAuntie, Iâm fine.â ââŚIâm gonna give you their numbers.â âNo thanks, Auntââ âDid you hear me say âCan Iâ? No? Thatâs because it wasnât a question.â Sheâs gonna make sure he eats well when he does come around, and heâs got so much Tupperware itâs hard to drive back home. He returns with a cargo full of food, dumps it on the table, and goes, âGuys, weâre gonna need another fridge!â
Uncle Wyatt is SCARY AS FUCK Wheezy learned how to do the ice-cold glare from him XD. Seriously, you do not want to fuck with this man. Heâs like Wyatt Earp; sharp and fast with his guns, faced numerous battles, and he has the scars to prove it. But behind his reputation, heâs a good man and he too wants someone decent for Wheezy. He actually likes his nephewâs friendsâŚ.except for Greasy. He doesnât care for that horny menace đ If he sees the gang, heâll greet each of them and then promptly ignore Greasy LOLLOLLOL. Just like â
*Handshake* âSmarty, good seeinâ you. Sharp tie.â *pats shoulder* âStu, my boy, you got a little somethinââŚ.apple crumbs? Eh, whatever. Save it for later. Good to see you.â *Nod* âPsycho, your furâs gettinâ less knots. Very good.â *Greasy hesitantly holds out his hand* âOops, forgot to turn off me tea kettle. See ya, boys.â
Youâre probably wondering, what did Greasy do? Well, letâs just say the first time they met, one of his magazines fell out of his suit and it accidentally knocked over Petuniaâs beloved china set, an anniversary gift from her husband. Wyatt never forgave him for it đ
BONUS!
Iâm gonna add Twylaâs and Tomâs reactions to this. This is basically how sheâd think/feel about their family situations. And holy shit, Twyla has thoughts. Her knowing about their families all depends on what theyâd tell her once they get closer; she wouldnât try to go digging for more info but would let them know that sheâs always an open ear if they need it. And they areâŚoverjoyed to see someone actually does care and are even more obsessively in love with her grateful. Tom wonât admit this, but heâs gonna look after them too.
Smartass and Stupid: *hears they only share a mom and a dad and immediately prepares for the worst* *Stupid tells her about his biological mother* âShe. Did. What?â
The twins, mostly Twyla, had a feeling these two were brothers. In fact, the twins noted that these two must be siblings. And witnessing Smartass just lunging the plunger at him instead of bonking his head further justifies their guess until it is confirmed. However, when Twyla hears that they have two different mothers, she already is expecting to hear about a cheating father. And unfortunately, her concerns are correct đ
Stupid is more likely to open up more to Twyla than Smartass. And to hear all this from a sweet guy like Stu, who's already on her Must Protect List, is just even more gut-wrenching to Twyla. This adorable, precious teddy bear was JEOPARDIZED by his own mother and ditched by his father? Uh-uh. Nope. That bitch is gonna get stitches! And the deadbeat is next! đ˘đ˘đ˘
Smartass tries to act all hard and tough, but Twyla can see right through him. Heâs still hurting even after all these years, so sheâs offering herself as someone to talk to despite theirâŚhistory. Even if heâd try to bury his emotions. She should know, because Tom still does that too sometimes. Twyla will patiently wait until itâs just the two of them, and just say sheâs around and let him come to hear if he wants to. Until then, sheâll respect his personal life 100%.
Thereâs a pretty good chance Twyla and Deb will meet. Like that scene in Goodfellas where Henry is forced to join Tommy having dinner with his mother đđđ Since the brothers are both Yanderes and they both love Twyla, they come up with a plan when Deb calls them and says sheâs coming to visit. They need Twylaâs help with some errands, and she agrees. However, they trick her into having dinner with them and their mother who theyâd called and told her Smartassâs lady friend was going to join. And whatâs even more hilarious, Twyla doesnât know what âlady friendâ means. She thinks that a âlady friendâ means that a guy has a friend who is a lady, poor silly girl XD
Meanwhile, Deb is just smothering her. The minute she opens the door, sheâs going to YOINK Twylaâs ass inside and yeet her to the couch while she prepares an entire goddamn buffet. And yes, Twyla will eat until thereâs not a single crumb left on her plate because Mama says so. Sheâll be like, âHello, my little rascals â OH, MY GOD!!! WHY IS SHE WEARING A JACKET IN THIS SUMMER HEAT?!?! DO YOU TWO KNUCKLEHEADS NOT SEE SHEâLL GET A HEATSTROKE?!?! AND WHY IS SHE SO THIN?!?! LORENZO, GO SIT IN THE CORNER, IâM TAKING OVER YOUR KITCHEN!!!!â
Poor Twyla is confused, but seriously. She needs to save her jacket for the fall and winter, because girl it is humid out here. And sheâs gonna love Debâs cooking! đ¤Š
Stupid joins in on the cooking and smothering while Smartass leans back on his chair, unable to hide a soft, small and sinister smile. Everything is going according to plan.
As for Tom, wellâŚI think he will understand Smartass a little more. His father never left, but he knows what betrayal feels like. And itâs even worse if youâre betrayed by one of your own. He may have beef with Smartass, but he will not push his boundaries for his kicks. Even Twisted Toons have standards. Â
Greasy: *Twylaâs horrified and tearful* âHoly shit. IâŚI am so sorry.â *Tom is completely wordless, but asks Greasy if heâd like a buddy the moment Twyla is out of earshot*
Twyla had a bad feeling Greasy didnât have the best childhood either. Hell, hers and Tomâs were awful. Maybe Greasy just gave off those vibes, or maybe when she saw a look in his eyes when family is brought up. She knows what that look means. Because her family does it, too.
Like the brothers, Twyla will wait until heâs ready to talk to her. She wonât even ask. She just waits. Until then, she would be keeping a close eye on Greasy. Look for anything that could possibly upset him, even if she doesnât know it. And when he does finally tell her, our girl is horrified. Â Â Â
She knows what itâs like to spend your whole life running and hiding from cops while working dangerous jobs just to get by, not that she would ever tell him. But losing his mother at such a young age too? Living in fear of his own father, who almost killed his twin sister? And then, being forced to leave home and hide in another state? Twyla wonât say this out loud, but sheâs already put him on her list too. Listen, he may beâŚwell, Greasy, but he did nothing to deserve to go through that nightmare. So, sheâs going to try to distract him from remembering the pain and be the emotional rock he needs right now. Like, âHey, Grease? I, uhâŚI brought you some enchiladas and churros. And I also brought some of your favorite movies. Wanna watch together?â
Like Deb, Twyla will meet Felicidad. And when they do, theyâre gonna get along so well! đđ Theyâll do many fun things together; shopping, getting their hair and nails done, the list goes on! Greasyâs so happy to see these two bondingâŚ.and mentally giving himself a pat on the back for completing the next steps of his plan for the future heâs making for Twyla and himself. âWell, Diego, youâve done wonderful today. Felicidad loves Twyla, and things are working out perfectly. By the end of today, itâll be like theyâve known each other their whole lives. Smartass thinks heâs a step ahead of me? Well, Iâll show him and those other two imbĂŠciles whoâs a real chess master.â   Â
As for Tom, he will be empathetic to Greasy as he is to the Landers. Tom understands why Greasy did what he did. Because he did the exact same thing back in Chatham. He couldnât imagine what his life would be like without Twyla. After all, sheâs his twin sister. His other half. You canât have a demon duo without the other. Sheâs the Mabel, the Cody, theâŚDale? You guys know what Iâm saying, right? đ
And like Twyla, Tom will do whatever he can to help him out. Card games, sword fighting practice (if Greasy wants to practice, Tom will join him and keep a close eye on him too), etc.
Psycho: âTheyâŚthey what?!â *Twylaâs demon mode is activated, Tom gives Psycho his business card*
Twyla was very concerned about Psycho and his past, too. And she couldnât help but wonder the same thing weâre all wondering; what the fuck happened? And since Psycho is so protective of her, he will try his absolute damndest not to mention all the horrific details (even though he spent part of his life in a sanatorium against his will!), but only after theyâve gotten close enough, and she wouldnât push him to tell her. Psycho would wait until he is ready and for the right moment to tell her, and she respects that. Depending on how he tells her, either she has more reason to suspect his childhood wasnât happy, or now she knows what happened to him and sheâsâŚhorrified, disgusted, and enraged.
Sheâs absolutely wordless, completely petrified, unable to process things even while sheâs comforting him. And when itâs just him and Tom, the prince digs in his pocket. âHereâs my card.â
They are absolutely s h o c k e d when Psycho tells them about his parents. Hell, they know what itâs like to be hated by someone who was supposed to care for them, protect them and keep them safe. And they know how hard life is, especially to Toons weasels and halfies like them. But what Opal and Lawrence is no goddamn excuse to neglect and abuse their son the way they did. And not only that, but this poor guy had no idea where he was or who all of those people were when Opal abandoned him at an asylum! An asylum! Twylaâs struggling to control her demon form while Tom could barely form words by the time Psychoâs done.
Even though they understand Psycho wishes no harm on thoseâŚ.people even though they really deserve it, they will kindly let him know their door is always open if he changes his mind. Whatever he chooses, theyâll understand and respect his decision.
Wheezy: âYour familyâs pretty cool, Wheezy. AlsoâŚum, why does Petunia want to know if you and I are living together?â
Twylaâs literally praying that Wheezy doesnât have horrific, abusive parents like Stu, Psycho, and Greasy did. Although she knows how collected and reasonable he is, despite his fucking terrifying ice glare, she knows unfortunately very well that just because someone appears to be level-headed doesnât mean there isnât anything going on in their lives. She might actually breathe a sigh of relief if/when Wheezy tells her about his kin, âOh, thank God!â The only thing that would throw her off, though, is how big his family is, âNice to hear you have a good family â Wait, how many are living in that house??? đđâ
Yeah, sheâs in for a BIG surprise 𤣠For starters, sheâd be stunned to hear his whole family actually asked to meet her Wheezy may have had something to do with this đ. But itâd also be a little overwhelming to her. This huge family all in one house? And even when his cousins drive him insane, they still get along? Wheezyâs aunt is asking about his life and job and her husband is strict, but neither of them say anything about his constant chain-smoking??? What is happening right now????
Sheâd also be trying so hard to make a good first impression, especially since hers and Wheezyâs first encounter wasnât soâŚpleasant. Sheâd wear one of her best outfits, offer to help with anything, etc. And if anybody inquired about her, she wouldnât know if it was to judge her rather than know her, âO-Oh. Where do I work? I uhâŚwell, I work part-time at retail, hahaâŚđ â
Wheezy and the other weasels if theyâre stalking them would watch her like, âHmm⌠My girl's beinâ sus again đ¤¨â But on the other hand, thatâs a helpful clue to find out more about her.
Speaking of Wheezy, Iâm gonna backtrack a little. Yes, he had something to do with this little family get-together đ¤Łđ Like the Lander brothers, he will trick her into joining him. Heâs possessive and protective of her as fuck, but heâs noticed how shy and reserved she is. He understands she wants her own space, but he also knows she needs social interaction (as much as heâs a possessive Yandere, he trusts his family), and as her future husband, heâs going to gently coax her into stepping out of her comfort zone. And what better way to do it than calling her and asking her to join him after he âaccidentallyâ brings her up during a phone call? đđđ
Lol, his cousins would tease him, âAw, Wheezy, you donât sound so happy to hear us. Whatâs the matter, too busy with your girl?â Wheezy would pretend to be annoyed and respond without thinking, âYeah, I am! So fuck off!â
ââŚâ
ââŚâ
ââŚâ
ââŚ.Ah, shit.â
The guys would be like, âHim? He finally got himself a lady?â âAinât no way. Ma! Câmere! You gotta hear this!â
Wheezy got himself a girl? Pfft, yeah right. After all, itâs him! Cobalt âWheezy Weaselâ Foray, chain-smoker of the dreaded Toon Patrol, who smokes and coughs 24/7. Itâs literally in the name!
This is what theyâd be thinking for most of the time until the day finally comes. As theyâre all getting ready for the outing, the door knocks. Imagine their reactions like Dale and Zipper when they meet Gadgetâs âcousinâ in Double-O-Dale. One of the boys walks over to answer the door, ready to tease Wheezy when he sees thereâs no girl with him, only to see his cousin standing next to a Gothic Toon bombshell đđđ And they just lose their goddamn minds.
Meanwhile, Petunia and Wyatt take one look at her and go, âYep. Protect her at all costs.â
And Wheezyâs cousins are not even remotely judgmental towards hybrid Toons. Not even the slightest! They would be like, âA halfie girl? 𤊠Nice! đđ Since youâre a mink-wolf halfie, do you like to eat meat from bison, or do you have a variety from frogs to rabbits?â
Yes, Petunia will be smothering her with food and affection like Deb. And no, Twyla is forbidden from helping in the kitchen. Sheâs her future niece-in-law a guest! Awe, itâs so sweet she wants to help, but really, she just needs to sit there and be cute 𼰠Her husband will pull Wheezy to the side and calmly say, âIf anyone ever tries to harm her, just send âem my way. I will fuckinâ annihilate them.â
âYes, sir.â
Wheezyâs cousins will act as bodyguards and spies at the same time XD. While Twylaâs having fun and bonding with everyone, he will ask Charley and Harold if theyâre looking for another job. Heâll mention that she and her family live next to a cemetery out of town, and a lot of spooky things happen in cemeteries from what theyâve told him. He doesnât want anything to happen to his sweet cupcake. The two brothers eagerly accept! đ
On a comedic and wholesome note. Petunia is going to try and get Twyla and Wheezy together after meeting her. Her nephew is genuinely happy with her company, and Twylaâs an angel đĽ°
Tom and the others are going to be so pissed đ Â Â Â Â Â
Another serious note, though. Can you imagine if the weasels find out about the twinsâ childhoods? Oh my God.

Here, have collages of my League. Come get your soup
I drew some birds with chalk on the sidewalk of Toontown, I thought it would be fun and make things even more cheerful! Then the birds came to life and asked me to feed them and provide them with water to drink. So I drew them some seeds and a little lake. Then they told me they have nowhere to live, so I drew them some trees and birdhouses. Then as I was walking away to go home, they yelled at me that they're bored. So I came back and drew them some books and a movie theater.
I'll have to go back tomorrow to draw seeds again, since they ate them all. I did not expect this level of responsibility!! Am I a mom now!?
Haven't posted in a hot minute but I was experimenting with my rendering style and felt that I should share this! my toon for my toontown rewritten tooniverse fic I started over a decade ago!
I am doing commissions and will try to be rendering my comm work like this going forward. ( but probably at smaller canvas sizes, this was too big for me to work with and a lot of flaws happen when the canvas is too big )
