The party was coming to a close. He had been working for Trent a few months already, so he more or less knew the protocol when it came to social gatherings. He was to stay close to the other; more like a plus one than an actual bodyguard. He had to keep a low profile in order to work to the best of his abilities to protect Trent in the worst case scenario, and if acting like his date was what did it then he would do exactly as such.
It did help that this job in particular paid better than most. And that his client was attractive than most.
“Enjoy the party?” He inquired as he walked the man to their shared car. He opened the door and waited for the other to get inside. “You give me an hour of your time and I can show you a bar my cousin runs with more excitement in it’s thumb than I could have scraped up from that rager we just left.” The words were lighthearted, but he was prepared to follow through if he so happened to take the offer.
