Hi Everyone,

I was recently accepted into a selective online speculative fiction workshop where I'll have the opportunity to workshop my novel with acclaimed speculative fiction author Megan Giddings. Because the organization hasn't made its public announcement yet, I'm keeping the name of the workshop private for now but it's one I have been applying to for some years and I finally got in.

Unfortunately, I wasn't awarded financial assistance even though I applied for a scholarship. The good news is that a very generous friend has offered to cover my $300 deposit, so now I'm trying to raise the remaining $500 needed for tuition.

I have to accept my spot and pay the deposit by July 17, and the remaining tuition is due by August 21, so it's a pretty tight timeline.

1. A brotherly relationship, when Mileven gets married at the end of the season and has a perfect nuclear family with 5 kids.

2. An enemy relationship, when Mike joins Vecna and decides to serve him in Vecna's quest for world dominance.

3. A doctor-patient relationship, when Will follows his sudden new dream to go to medical school and forgets he ever wanted to be an artist.

4. A tenant-landlord relationship when the Wheeler parents die and Mike decides Will needs to pay to live there, even though it's a literal warzone and neither of them can work anywhere.

5. A professional relationship, when Mike becomes Will's personal trainer for the fight against Vecna, and they spend long hours in the gym together.

6. A friends -> strangers relationship when Will gets a no-name bf and moves to the big city. Many years later in the epilogue, Mike sees him at the airport kissing his bf and turns away to tear up...because he.....uh...... misses playing d&d.

7. A coworking relationship, when they put out a graphic novel series together of a fictionalized account of their time in Hawkins with Will doing the drawings and Mike writing the story.

8. An awkward familial relationship, when Ted x Lonnie profess their undying love for one another and ride off into the sunset and Mike and Will have to pick up the pieces and help their families.

9. A lawyer-client relationship, when Mike and El inevitably get divorced and have trouble splitting time between the 5 children.
