The Styles’ London house was full of noise and toys as usual. Grace toddled around the living room clutching her stuffed rabbit, while YN tried to tidy the breakfast plates.

“Grace…are you excited to see Uncle Louis?”. Harry asked the little toddler as he picked her up in his arms whilst stepping carefully around building blocks.

Grace beamed, her little voice full of excitement. “Yeh!”.

YN smiled as she saw the two approach her in the kitchen, one hand on her bump. “Uncle Louis is definitely your favourite.”

Harry’s grin matched the two as he pressed a kiss to his wife’s forehead. “You alright? You look tired babe?.”

“Bit uncomfortable, that’s all,” YN said. “He’s kicking up a storm.” Referring to baby Styles that was tucked up in her tummy. 

Harry’s smile oozed in sympathy. “Hopefully not much longer left now my love”.

Louis and Zara arrived mid-afternoon with takeaway sandwiches and coffees, and of course a small bag of chocolate buttons for Grace. Always spoilt by Uncle Louis. They’d promised to keep close and in London in case YN went into labour.

The sight of Louis walking through the door caused Grace’s eyes to beam as she points from Harry’s arms. “Ooo-ee! Ooo-ee!”.

The sweet pronunciation caused Zara to coo at the little girl that had now made her way into Louis’ arms. “Heeey my girl!”. 

“Thought we’d call by with some lunch for you guys,” Louis said, handing over a bag as he held Grace in the other. “You’re looking tired, Tiny.”

YN groaned, easing herself onto the sofa. “I am…I’m starting to feel so uncomfortable now.”

Harry chuckled. “Maybe he’s waiting for Father’s Day tomorrow.”

Louis grinned. “Wouldn’t that be something?”

15th of June 2025 39 weeks pregnant 

2:35am

YN woke suddenly, a tight ache spreading across her lower stomach. She waited, breathing through it, but another came only minutes later.

“Harry,” she whispered, nudging him gently.

He stirred, instantly alert. “You alright?”

“I think it’s starting.” YN continued to breathe calmly as she realised they were about to meet their baby boy. 

He was on his feet before she could answer, pulling on his pair of shorts that had landed on the floor the night before. “Are you alright? I’ll phone Louis for him and Zara to come over and stay with Grace”.

YN smiled tiredly as another contraction finished. “Bubs…relax!”.

He shot her a nervous grin. “M’sorry…can’t help it”. Pacing the room with his phone held up to his hear ready to phone Louis. 

3:00am

Grace was still fast asleep in her cot, her curls stuck to her cheeks as Harry checked on her before they leave for the hospital. 

Louis and Zara arrived quickly, both wearing equally excited but nervous smiles as they walked through the door. 

“How are you doing babe?”. Zara asked as YN held herself up by the wall, a contraction not long ending, 

YN weakly smiled, knowing this was only the start of the pain. “M’good…pain is manageable at the moment”.

“You’ve got this,” Louis said, squeezing YN’s hand before turning to Harry. “Keep me updated yeah…and look after her”. 

“Thank you,” YN managed, reaching for Harry’s hand as another wave of pain rolled through.

Zara reassured the pair as they walked towards the front door. “We’ll stay with Grace for as long as we need to”. 

Harry gave one last request before heading for the door. “Give her lots and cuddles from us when she wakes up.”

4:00am

The drive to the hospital had been quiet except for YN’s steady breathing and Harry whispering encouragement every few minutes.

Now, in the soft early light of the labour ward, YN sat in the birth pool gripping Harry’s hand. He rubbed her back and murmured, “You’re doing amazing love…I’m right here”.

The midwife smiled as she watched the couple. YN’s hand gripping the gas and air nozzle, breathing it in to ease the pain. “Everything looks goodYN…You’re about to meet your little baby soon”. 

Harry gave her hand another squeeze. “Told you…He’s a Father’s Day baby”. The midwife smiled lovingly at the statement. 

YN managed a tired laugh. “Looks like he really might be.”

The next few hours blurred into calm instructions, slow breathing, and quiet reassurance. YN still in the birthing pool and Harry not moving from her side. 

6:30am

The nozzle was still glued to YN’s hand. Harry was whispering positive encouragement into his wife’s ear, trying to do anything to show love and support. 

“You’re doing amazing YN…keep listening to what your body is telling you”. The midwife, monitored and kept an eye on the pool water. “I’d say you’re about to meet your baby in the next few minutes”. 

“Hear that babe…he’ll be in our arms soon”. Harry placed a loving peck to YN’s forehead. “You’re incredible!”. 

Within minutes, the small room was filled with little cries, and Harry’s breath caught in his throat. The midwife handed a tiny baby to YN, who let out a tearful laugh.

“”ello my little baby”. YN whispered, her voice filled with emotion. 

Harry leaned down, pressing a kiss to her temple. “He’s so tiny and oerfect…I love you so much!”. 

“Seven pounds three ounces,” the midwife announced with a smile. “Born at 6:38am on the 15th of June!”. 

Harry laughed quietly, wiping his eyes. “Couldn’t have picked a better day.”

YN looked up at him, exhausted but glowing. “Happy Father’s Day Bubs!”. 

Six hours old

The room was quiet, but love and happiness surrounded them. Their baby boy slept on Harry’s bare chest, tiny fingers curled against his skin.

YN watched from the bed, now in fresh pyjamas and her hair high in a bun, smiling softly. “He’s your twin”. 

Harry glanced up to his wife, before looking back down at his chest. “It’s only fair as Grace is yours”. 

“We really do create the most perfect babies!”. YN smiled at the sight of Harry cuddling their baby boy. 

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, the quiet hum of the life outside the room around them.

2:30pm 

Louis and Zara arrived early afternoon with Grace, who toddled in clutching her rabbit.

“Mama!” she squealed when she saw YN.

YN smiled, holding out her arms. “Hi my girl!”. Grace immediately reaching up. Louis carefully placing her next to YN. 

Harry sat beside the hospital bed. “You ready to meet your baby brother?”.

Grace blinked at the tiny bundle in Harry’s arms. “Baby?” she asked softly.

“That’s right”. YN said, trying to keep her tears back as she watched the new siblings. “Your brother”. 

Grace reached out her small hand, gently touching his blanket. “Baby!”, she repeated proudly as her eyes stared at the new little addition. 

Louis sniffed behind them. “Oh this is too much…I’m getting emotional”. He muttered, running his hand over his face attempting to wipe away the tears. 

Zara smiled, her hand finding his. “You’re allowed…it’s a special moment”. 

“I’m so proud of her!”. Louis beamed, tears attempting to roll. 

Harry wrapped an arm around YN, looking between his wife and two babies. “We did it baby…our little family!”. 

YN nodded, tears in her eyes. “Yeah…we really did”. 

“Albie…you have completed us!”.

Summary: Big moments, yet small ones are rather special to share with the people who support you through it all aren't they?

You stood backstage, your fingers running across the familiar strings of your guitar.

The hum of the crowd vibrated through the floor beneath your feet, and you could hear the murmur of excitement building as the lights dimmed in the arena.

It was one of those nights—one of those moments—that made your heart race, even after years of touring with Harry.

As one of his guitarists, you had played in some of the biggest venues worldwide, but tonight was different.

Tonight, you weren't just his guitarist, you were also his girlfriend and the soon-to-be mother of your first child.

A flutter of nervous excitement mingled with your anticipation.

In just a few minutes, your secret would no longer be yours.

Harry had insisted on making this night special, and you had agreed. You'd been planning it for weeks, keeping your little secret close.

The gender reveal of your baby would happen right here, on stage, in front of thousands of fans.

And it would be you who would announce it with the iconic guitar solo of Harry's song, 'Adore You'.

The thought made your stomach flip with both nerves and excitement.

Harry's voice came through the speakers as he greeted the crowd, his tone warm and familiar, like a friend welcoming everyone into his home.

"Hey, everybody! How are we feeling tonight?" Harry's voice boomed through the arena, and the crowd erupted in cheers.

You listened as Harry went through the opening set, your fingers moving instinctively over your guitar strings, getting in sync with the rhythm of the band.

You had played these songs a hundred times, but tonight there was an added weight to every note.

Harry paused after finishing the previous song, letting the last note fade into the electric buzz of the crowd.

He looked over at you, his eyes sparkling with something that made your heart skip.

You felt your pulse quicken. You knew this was it.

Harry's eyes met yours again, and for a second, it was just the two of you.

You smiled, trying to steady your breathing.

“For those of you who don’t know, the amazing guitarist who’s been up here with me every night is also the love of my life, y/n.” Harry's words sent a surge of applause and cheers through the crowd.

You felt your cheeks flush, both from the warmth of the spotlight and the love that emanated from the audience.

“And we’ve got a little surprise for you all tonight,” Harry continued, his voice tinged with excitement. “You see, y/n and I are expecting a baby!”

The cheers grew louder, and you felt a wave of emotion wash over you.

Harry waited for the noise to die down before speaking again. “Now, we thought long and hard about how we wanted to reveal the gender of our baby, and we decided there was no better place to do it than right here, with all of you."

"So, during the next song, when y/n plays the guitar solo, you’re going to see some fireworks. And when you do, the color of those fireworks will tell you if we’re having a boy or a girl.”

The crowd erupted again, this time with a mixture of excitement and anticipation.

You could feel your heart pounding in your chest.

This was it.

You nodded at Harry, who gave you a reassuring smile, and then he turned back to the crowd.

“This is ‘Adore You,’” Harry announced, and the familiar notes began to fill the arena.

Your fingers moved over the strings, finding the melody with ease.

The song had always been special to you and Harry.

It was one of the first songs you had worked on together, back when your relationship was still new, still fragile.

Now, it felt like a full-circle moment, standing here with him, about to share the biggest news of your lives with thousands of people.

As the song built towards the solo, your nerves returned, but so did a deep sense of calm.

And then, as the solo reached its peak, the arena exploded in a dazzling display of color.

Fireworks shot into the sky, bursting into a shower of brilliant blue.

The crowd gasped in unison, and then the cheers began, louder than ever before.

You felt a wave of emotion crash over you, tears springing to your eyes as you played the final notes of the solo.

A boy.

You were having a boy.

Harry was beside you in an instant, his arms wrapping around you as the crowd continued to cheer.

You could feel him shaking, overwhelmed with emotion, just as you were.

You held onto each other, sharing the moment, as the blue fireworks continued to light up the sky above you.

Harry took the microphone again, his voice thick with emotion.

“Thank you, thank you so much,” he said, his words directed both to the audience and to you. “We can’t wait to meet our little fella, and we’re so grateful to have you all here with us tonight to share this moment.”

The crowd roared in response, and you felt another wave of tears threaten to spill over.

You glanced at Harry, who was looking at you with a mixture of love and awe.

It was a look you would never tire of.

As the final notes of "Adore You" faded into the night, Harry turned back to the audience.

“I think we’re going to need to play one more song after that,” he said with a laugh, and the crowd cheered in agreement.

But before you started the next song, Harry leaned in close to you, his voice low enough that only you could hear.

“I love you,” he said, his eyes shining.

You smiled, your heart full. “I love you too,” you replied, and in that moment, everything else faded away.

It was just you, standing on stage, under a sky filled with blue fireworks, ready to welcome the next chapter of your lives together.

“I still can’t believe it,” Harry said, his voice soft as he rested his hand on your belly. “A boy.”

You leaned into him, your head resting on his shoulder. “I know,” you said, your voice equally soft. “It feels like a dream.”

Harry kissed the top of your head, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on your stomach. “It’s a dream I never want to wake up from,” he whispered.

You sat like that for a long time, wrapped up in each other, the excitement of the night giving way to a peaceful calm.

The future stretched out before you, bright and full of possibilities.

And as you sat there, in the quiet of the night, you knew that no matter what came next, you would face it together, as a family.

Drummer Masterlist Summary: YN auditions to be One Direction's Drummer.

Since a young age YN had always been one to make a rhythm from tapping on something. Like when she was a toddler, an aunt gifted her a musical instruments set and the only thing she wanted to play was the drum and sticks. She would spend hours sitting and tapping the sticks on top of the plastic toy. When she was sat at the kitchen table with her brother and sisters waiting for their dinner when they young children, she would annoy them by hitting her fingers against the wood of the table. 

For her 11th birthday she had been gifted a drum kit that lived in the garage next to the house, where she was able to make as much noise as she liked. Her Mum always knew she was talented but listening from her seat in the garden as she watched the younger girls play, she was stunned at how a young girl could play so well and sound like a professional.

So when her brother’s band, One Direction, needed a drummer because theirs had dropped out last minute before their Take Me Home Tour, Louis didn’t think twice to ask their management to consider his sister for the role. After some thought, they agreed that she could come for an audition. 

On the day of the audition, YN had travelled down from Doncaster to London, where her brother met her at the train station to take her to the studio where his management and the other boys were waiting.

As Louis pulled into the car park, he noticed his sister bouncing her leg up and down, a nervous tick she had. Reaching over he placed his hand over her knee. “Hey, calm down, you’ll be fine”.

Her leg remained still now, but she still couldn’t shake off her nerves. “I’m just nervous Lou, I don’t want to embarrass you-“.

“Embarrass me, you could never embarrass me, plus I’ve been bragging you up because you’re a badass on the drums”. Louis complimented, causing YN to laugh at his words. She was even more determined not to leave her brother down. 

Entering the studio where the audition was being held, Louis noticed his sister hands trembling slightly. He continued to lead the way until they were outside the audition room. 

“Ready?”. Louis asked YN once more, when YN nodded he led her through the black doors.

The four other boys were sat on a long grey sofa in the corner of the room, with a few of members from the boys management sat behind a table with papers and a laptop on front of them. 

Once YN had introduced herself and Louis and the boys wished her luck, she found herself sat with her trusty sticks in her hand behind the drum kit. 

For the audition, they were asked to play one of the bands songs. So with a little hint from Louis, YN chose Up All Night knowing that it was going to be their opening song for the shows.

Not wasting time YN repositioned her sticks in her hand, and within seconds they were hitting the drum kit in front of her. 

Niall was amazed at how someone so calm and quiet could make so much noise on the drums, and make it sound so good without any other instruments.

Zayn’s foot tapped to the beat of the drums, and whispered to Niall “how sick is she”.

Liam was moving his arms to each beat that YN would make, and pretended that he was actually playing the drums.

Harry, well he was mesmerised. Not only from the way YN played the drums but how beautiful she was too. He’d heard from Louis how amazing she was but to see her play right in front of him, he was speechless. 

Louis wanted YN to land this role more than anything, so although he knew how good she was, she needed to prove it to the people sat behind the table. He kept trying ti read their expressions as his sister played but it was hard to tell what they were really thinking. 

As YN finished playing the song, she took a deep breath, one that she had been holding since her sticks hit the first beat. “Thank you.” she spoke to the three people in front of her.

The man in the middle of the table broke the silence. “YN, that was something else…for once I am speechless.”.

“You are a very talented young lady.”. The woman at the end of table complimented her.

The three of them all had a silent conversation with their eyes, and a few head nods here and there. Before one spoke “YN, you’ve got the job!”.

YN was stunned, she couldn’t move from her spot. But before she knew it, five arms were around her in one big group hug, as they jumped up and down in excitement, congratulating her. 

“Welcome to the band sis!”.

Harry was pleasantly surprised as he laid down in his designated bunk and YN wasted no time in reaching for his belted jeans, her smaller hands undoing them with ease.

“Someone’s eager!”. Harry gave a lazy smirk as he felt his lower half become harder with anticipation.

“Might wanna say that to your dick bubs!”. YN sent back a larger smile as the more she fumbled with his jeans, the longer and bigger his length grew.

Before Harry could return the quick whit, he felt the warmth release down his long length with ease and as he dared to look down, he was met with YN’s gentle strokes and her pink tongue swirled around his tip.

“Oh fuck…feels so good!”. Harry moaned into the air above him as his head voluntarily tilted back to meet the plump pillow. His fist traveled down and met with YN’s head to hold her ponytail tight.

As YN twirled her tongue with ease around the tip, leaving a path of wetness behind, her hand stroked up and down his length with rhythm.

“Oh yeah…uh fuck me!”. YN felt a pang at her ego rising and Harry continued to echo his moans with a grunt.

Knowing her wet tongue had teased Harry enough, she gently slid his long thick length down so it met the back of her throat causing her eyes to sting and his hips to buckle.

“Oh my fucking- your mouth is heaven”. Harry complimented as he took a shaky breath, feeling his thickness pushing its way down her tongue. Getting ahead of the feeling, Harry buckled his hips up to quick causing YN to gag on his length. “Shit…fuck…m’sorry babe!”.

Despite the worry in Harry’s voice as he panicked he’d pushed the moment too much, YN caused a whole new feeling inside him. “I liked it…do it again!”.

“Fuck me…you’re going to be the death of me!”. Harry dramatically announced into the air around them as he lolled his head back in search for comfort.

As YN’s mouth returned to her movements of licking and sucking his length, Harry moaned loudly without thought that they were only a few feet away from the others.

“Your moans are so fucking hot!”. YN spoke as she brought her mouth up for a break before her lips and nose met with the base of Harry’s stomach.

“Oh yeah….fuck…fuck…oh…oh…YN…yeah…I’m gonna cum…”.

In between Harry’s grunty moans, YN froze as she heard a familiar accent. A thick Irish one to be exact. “Fuck!”.

Harry’s ears quickly tuned into the noise coming from the other side of the curtain that kept them hidden.

YN could feel her cheeks rise with embarrassment as they heard Niall’s voice and loud contagious laughter. “Fucking hell lovebirds…you can hear you from the car park!”.

“Fuck off Niall!”. Harry was frustrated that their moment had been interrupted and the sound of his bandmates voice was enough to kill the mood.

“Oh yeah…feels so good…fuck…fuck…oh yeah YN!”. Niall mocked Harry’s moans before a teasing chuckle followed through the bus.

YN had made her way to lay next to Harry, knowing their moment alone was over. “Horan…kindly fuck off! You cockblock”. She felt Harry chuckle lightly at her honesty.

“Oi watch your mouth Tomlinson…or I’ll go and tell Louis what I’ve just heard!”. The couple knew Niall was teasing them, the comment was just banter but the heavy gulp in Harry’s throat spoke volumes at how worried he was about him spilling the information.

“Don’t test me Horan!”.

One Direction were currently touring America as part of their Take Me Home tour. They had become familiar with fans and paparazzi waiting for any sign of one them the boys leaving the hotel or arena, which meant it was routine how they, and their crew left the buildings.

The five boys would be escorted by their security to the car, and majority of the time the fans and paparazzi would slowly lose interest once the band had disappeared behind the car doors.

But on this occasion, the paparazzi were willing to go the extra step and begin to question anyone associated with the band. Being Lou’s assistant on the tour, Louis’ sister and Harry’s girlfriend meant YN was their target.

YN watched as the boys were escorted by their security to the several cars that waited outside their hotel to drive them to thr venue. The order remained the same, Zayn, Niall, Liam, Louis and Harry. The crew were quick to follow, but today YN was overwhelmed by the questions being fired at her.

“YN, is it true you’re pregnant?”

“Is Harry paying you to be on tour?”

“YN! YN! YN!”

The questions being shouted behind them caused Harry and Louis to quickly glance behind them. But they were hurried along to get to the cars faster.

“YN, what do you think about people saying you’re using Harry?”

YN walked behind Lou, reminding herself that they wanted a reaction and the quicker she walked the sooner she would be away from the pushing and cameras being in her face.

Just as the boys reached their car, Zayn, Niall and Liam were comfortable in their seats, they heard the hectic commotion.

The hard cover of the camera lens was quick to meet the skin on YN’s forehead. “OW!”. Quickly her hand whipped up to be met with the warm liquid.

Lou turned quickly behind her at the sound of pain coming from YN. She could see her holding a hand to her head and her fingers covered in red. Lou tried to push people away from YN. “Step away from her!”. But it was no use, cameras were still flashing and bodies were pushing and shoving.

“GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!”. Harry’s voice appeared in front of them. His hands reaching for YN and pulling her body into his chest and holding her tight against him. “You’re okay babe, you’re safe…I’m here”. He gently spoke into YN’s ear as he tried to guide them to the car.

“Harry! Harry! Harry!”.

A camera appeared in Harry’s vision, but as quickly as it snapped a photo it was shoved away by Harry’s large hand. “CAN’T YOU SEE SHE’S HURT YOU FUCKING IDIOT!”. He could feel the anger build inside him. “JUST FUCK OFF OUT OF OUR WAY!”.

Paul intervened quickly, knowing Harry was one step away from causing more problems. He along with the other security made a path for the couple to walk through.

YN felt so much relief when she entered the van, finding herself in the seat next to her brother and Harry hot on her heels sitting in the chair next to her.

“Hey Kiddo…you alright?”. Louis’ voice was filled with concern as he saw his sister’s head full of read and Harry’s face filled with pure anger.

“STUPID FUCKING PAPS!”. Harry held a spare shirt he had in his bag to YN’s head, hoping it would help with the bleeding.

“Harry I’m alright…just stay calm”. YN pleaded knowing how angry he felt right now, she could see the pure hatred in his eyes.

Louis wrapped a protective arm around his sister’s shoulder. “They’re arseholes I know and they’re lucky it was you out there because I would have punched them square in the face…but YN’s right Harry…just stay calm…she’s safe here with us now”.

“You’re walking with us next time…I’m not having you get hurt again”.

Things had calmed down behind the scenes after the chaos that had been caused earlier on in the day. The boys had some free time backstage as they waited for the show to start.

Harry’s eyes hadn’t moved from YN, where she was peacefully sleeping on the sofa in the dressing room, her head now wearing a small plaster that the medic team had given her.

As much as Harry tried to forget about what had happened, he couldn’t and he blamed himself for not being by YN’s side the entire time.

“You better not be blaming yourself Harold”. Louis interrupted Harry’s inter battle he was having with himself.

Harry shrugged his shoulders as he muttered his reply with no tone. “Of course I am”.

Louis took a seat opposite where Harry was sitting, his eyes finding his sister tucked up unaware of their conversation. “I just wanted to say thank you”. Harry frowned in confusing at his words. “Thank you for protecting her…I used to worry about her on this tour, I still will, but…but watching you protect her like that today…I could see how much you care about her”.

“I’ll always protect her Lou…you haven’t got to worry about that”. Harry reinforced his promise as he quickly glanced back at YN.

As much as his words caused a stir in Louis heart at how in love the boy was with his sister, he quickly hid is teary eyes with a tad of teasing.

“You better had or you’ll have me to answer to”. Louis sent him a smirk as he left the room.

Harry was stood at the front of the stage, the microphone steady in his hand as he was about the place it back on the stand. Nyoh was standing next to him, the guitar heavy in her hand as she waited for Harry to perform the next song.

YN was stood on the floor area at the side of the stage. Close enough Harry could see her, but slightly away from the crowded barrier area.

Harry looked to his left to see YN standing there next to Jeff and Brad. YN had woken with a headache that morning and despite her insisting that she was fine now that she had taken a paracetamol, Harry couldn’t resist checking in on his girlfriend.

Catching YN’s eye, Harry brought the mic up to his lips so she could hear him. “YN? How’s your head?”.

Before Harry had chance to add anything to his question, YN voice shouted across the way filling the ears of everyone between them. “Never had any complaints!”.

Instantly Harry eyes widened as he realised the sarcastic response he had from YN. But whilst Harry shook his head with an amused grin, YN wore a bit smirk, very satisfied with the reaction she got from the screaming crowd and Harry’s blushed cheeks.

“So Styles…what are we working on today? Do you want to keep working on Treat People?”. Kid asked as he span around on his chair to face everyone, readjusting his hat as he did.

Harry gently licked his bottom lip as he thought about his options. “I’ve kinda got these lyrics that I can’t stop humming…I wanna work on them…see if they go anywhere, but if anyone feels uncomfortable then just say and we’ll scrap the whole thing!”.

“Shit it’s getting fucking deep in here today!”. Tyler joked, earning a snigger from Kid and a small grin from Mitch.

“What are you talking about man, every song is fucking deep”. Kid couldn’t bite his tongue. Harry only flipped him off with a sarcastic smile.

This is what Harry liked about the team, they could joke around, not taking anything to serious. But at the same time, they’d all shared many of the deepest conversations.

“Have you got like a melody or anything H?”. Mitch quietly asked as he prepared to play.

Harry shook his head as he pulled his lips into his mouth. “Nah just go with it and see what happens”.

“Tastes like strawberries…on a summer evenin'…and it sounds just like a song”. Harry acoustically sang, trying to find the right notes and melody.

“What’s with you and fruit, man?”. Mitch asked the question everyone was dying to know. “Plus what the fuck sounds like a song?”.

Harry ran his finger under his nose, a nervous habit he had. “Nothing…it’s nothing…just open for interpretation”.

Anne didn’t need an excuse to host a summer garden party, so the moment the sun came out she invited all her close family and friends over for food, drinks and a good time.

Harry and YN had been finding it difficult to leave each others sides, whether that was Harry’s arm reaching around her waist to sit on her hip, an arm over her shoulder or sharing a quick peck when they thought nobody was looking.

So when YN was in the kitchen, reaching across the spectacular spread Anne had put on to place a few strawberries on her plate, she felt two hands slide around her middle and a face nuzzle into her neck.

“I’ve missed you”. Harry placed small kisses up her neck, YN trying not to let her body respond as she took a bite of a strawberry, placing the green on the plate.

“I haven’t been anywhere”. YN giggled as she swallowed the fruit, placing the plate down so she could turn in his arms.

As she wrapped her arms around his neck, her fingers gently played with his loose curls. Harry met her lips with his, the sweet taste of strawberry lingered between them.

“Let’s go upstairs”. Harry mumbled against her lips, that were now a darker shade of red.

“Bubs we’re in your mums…there’s a party going on”. YN pointed out as Harry’s lips nibbled down her neck, teasing and distracting her from her thoughts.

Harry only shrugged his shoulders in response. “When has that ever stopped us?”. YN knew he had a point, but she was still reluctant, glancing around to see if anyone would see them wonder off. “Please baby”.

“But I want more berries”. YN wined as she glanced back at her plate, sitting there full of fresh strawberries.

“Well I want you!”. Harry gently pulled her by the neck to place a lingering kiss to her swollen red lips.

”All I’m getting so far is you’ve eaten strawberries on a summer evening and it sounds like a song!”. Mitch was literal with his interpretation, looking at Harry like he’d gone crazy.

“Mitch just listen to the fucking lyrics man…we’re only like three lines in and I already know what it’s about.” Tyler laughed at how naive his friend was being right now.

Whilst Kid and Tyler fiddled about with some ideas for mixing and editing ‘Golden’, Mitch tested out a few chords to see what would fit with the current song Harry was writing.

Harry was noticing some lyrics down in his leather book, when Mitch played a particular melody that caught his ears. He listened carefully trying to find the right timing.

“I want more berries…And that summer feelin'…It's so wonderful and warm”. Harry sung, catching the other’s attention, all invested in where he was going with it. “Breathe me in…Breathe me out…i don't know if I could ever go without..”.

Harry paused as he processed where this song was going. But glancing around the room, he spotted a book on the table. Giggling to himself, he couldn’t stop his hands from reaching for it. “I don't know if I could ever go without…Watermelon sugar…High!”.

“Sounds like you’ve just named your next song”.

Once their hidden by the four walls in Harry’s room, he quickly reaches for YN’s waist, leaving traces of his fingers behind. Pulling her closer to him as their lips become ones and their fronts meet.

Louis was driving up the road towards his Nan and Grandads house preparing himself for what he was about to face. He’d tried phoning YN endless amount of times but she would never answer, only responding to texts with one worded replies.

He knew from talking with their grandparents that she wasn’t in a great space, keeping herself to herself, zoning out during conversations and what surprised Louis the most was when their Nan said YN was now smoking. Louis had to check what he had heard because YN would always make comments about Louis’ smoking habit.

Pulling up into the gated home that belonged to his grandparents, Louis thought back to the night that Harry had phoned him to explain that YN had broken things off with him.

Harry’s name lit up Louis’ phone as he sat in his LA home. It wasn’t unusual but certainly not expected, so Louis did frown a little as he swiped across to answer.

“‘ello lad…you alright?”. Louis’ arm leaned on his knees as he sat forward on the sofa.

“Uhh…sorry to bother you Lou”. Harry’s voice was quiet and reluctant. “You…uh..have you heard from YN?”.

Louis began to panic at the sound of Harry’s voice. “No…not since yesterday…why? Is she alright?”.

There was a slight pause in conversation before the words fell from Harry’s lips. “She…I….We’ve broken up”.

“Is this some sort of fookin’ joke?”. Louis had a slight nervous chuckle in his voice, hoping it was April fools day.

“I wish it was mate”. Louis could hear the sadness in Harry’s voice. “I just wanted to know if she’s okay”.

Louis sat there in pure shock as he tried to process what had been said. “I’ll try to phone her after our call…Harry?”.

“Yeah?”.

As much as Louis was worried about his sister, he was equally concerned about Harry. He knew Harry would be devastated and would needed as much support as YN. “Are you alright lad?”.

“I’m fucking devastated Lou…just so angry at myself but it’s what she wants”. The hurt in his voice filed Louis’ ears and pulled on his heartstrings.

“Ah fookin’ ‘ell man…I’m so sorry mate…hey don’t think ‘cause YN’s me sister that I won’t be here for you”. Louis was fair, everyone knew that.

“Thanks man, I appreciate that…just look after her for me”. And that’s a promise Louis could keep.

Louis is greeted by warm hugs from his grandparents and younger sisters, all relived to see him. Especially after the last couple of days since the news had gotten out that YN and Harry had broken up.

“What’s even happened? I still don’t know…Harry just keeps asking me to look after her”. Jen had told Louis that YN was still up in her room so they were gathered around the table, cups of tea spread out in front of them.

Jen and Len glanced at each other, waiting for the other to explain. “She hasn’t said a lot…just that Harry doesn’t care anymore”. Lottie spoke up from her seat between her grandparents. “Which I don’t think is true”.

“I think she’s angry…and is probably telling herself that to feel better”. Len added his own views, as he picked up his warm mug.

“Have you seen her much today?”. Louis glanced up at the large wooden clock hanging on the kitchen wall, reading 7:45pm.

The older woman that now held the family together sent Louis a sad no. “She comes down…goes outside for a bit and then heads straight back to her room”.

“I’m really worried about her Lou”. Lottie nervously bit at her lips, her hands held the mug in front of her tightly.

“I know…me too but she’s got this…because she’s got us”. Louis tried to be the strength that held their family unit together.

They all chatted together, waiting for any movement or sign that YN was going to join them. It felt like an eternity until footprints could be heard padding down the stairs and the French doors that lead to the garden screeched open. All pairs of eyes that sat around the table met each other, flickering back and forth filled with hope but wonder at the same time.

“I’m gonna go talk to her”. Louis stood up from his chair, each of them saying they hope she’ll talk to him.

Louis followed the path that lead to where YN was sat on the outside bench. As his footprints approached, YN slightly turned to see who they belonged to.

Louis slowed his steps when he saw her properly. YN sat curled up on the old garden bench, her knees tucked up to her chest, a cigarette balanced between her fingers. The soft glow of the ember was the only light on her face, faintly showing the dark circles under her eyes. 

“Didn’t think I’d see you with one of those!”. Louis said gently, nodding to the cigarette as he came to stand just in front of her. His tone wasn’t harsh, just firm. 

YN didn’t turn to look at him. “Don’t fookin’ start”. She warned before taking a drag and exhaling slowly into the cold air. “You sound like Nan”. 

Louis let out a quiet chuckle. “I’ll take that as a compliment”. He stuffed his hands in his jacket pockets, eyes fixed on the dark sky instead of her. “She’s worried about you…you know...we all are”.

“I’m fine”.The words came too quick, too sharp, and even YN was surprised at how unconvincing she sounded.

Louis sighed and walked over to sit beside her, leaving enough space so she wouldn’t feel cornered. “You’ve said that line so many times lately it’s losin’ its meaning”. 

YN stared down at the cigarette between her fingers, the ash building at the tip. “It’s easier to say I’m fine than to explain why I’m not”.

He nodded his head slowly, his chest tightening at her quiet honesty. “Yeah…I get you”.

Silence circled them for a while, filled only by the faint sounds of nature and the creak of the old broken gate in the wind. Louis waited for YN to speak first. He knew better than to push her.

Eventually YN’s voice broke the quiet. “He didn’t even come after me Lou”. Her voice held a mixture of anger and hurt. “He just fookin’ left!”.

Louis briefly closed his eyes as he heard the ache in her words. “He’s hurting too Tiny…I talked to him that night…he sounded so fookin’ down and…and just regretting the whole thing”. He watched YN bring the cigarette up to her mouth. “But he thought giving you space was what you needed”. 

“Space!”. She scoffed softly, shaking her head in disbelief. “I didn’t need fookin’ space…I needed him!”. Her fingers trembled as she put out the cigarette against the wooden bench. “I called him because I couldn’t breathe Lou…and he didn’t fookin’ answer!”.

Louis turned his head quickly towards her. His eyes softening at the realisation. “You were having a panic attacks?”.

YN nodded, a tear slipping down her cheek before she could stop it. “Harry always knows how to calm me down when I have one…when he didn’t pick up…I just…I lost it…it was like everything fookin’ hit me at once…I couldn’t keep it together anymore”. 

Louis felt his throat tighten as she spoke with honesty. He just wanted to take her pain away, he hated seeing his little sister like this. She looked and sounded broken and small, which was the opposite to her always being the strong one. 

“Hey!”. He placed his hand gently on her shoulder. “You’ve been carrying way to fookin’ much on your own…you can’t keep doing that Tiny!”. 

YN leaned into his hand slightly, showing how heavy the exhaustion was. “I just wanted something to stop the noise in my head!”.

Louis followed her eyes to the burnt out cigarette on the ground. “Smokings not gonna fix it love…but you know that already”. 

YN’s laugh was humourless laugh. “Yeah…you’ve got that fookin’ right!”.

Louis knew her laugh was forced. “Listen…maybe it’s not about fixing anything right now”. He began to explain. “Maybe it’s just about letting yourself feel…yeah?…You don’t have to hold it together all the time….not for any of us!”. 

YN sniffled, brushing her sleeve under her nose, almost like she was a child. “I don’t know how to stop!”. 

“You start by letting someone in”. Louis gently squeezed her shoulder. “You’ve got me…you’ve got Lottie…Nan and Grandad…you don’t have to do any of this on your own”. 

She nodded weakly, her lip trembling as she whispered, “I miss him!”. 

Louis wrapped a loving arm around her and pulled her close, resting his chin on the top of her head. “I know, love…I know you do”. 

They sat there for a while longer, as the bitter night air spun around them. The cigarette smoke had faded, but the heaviness between them remained thick. 

After a while, Louis broke the silence with a gentle voice. “You don’t have to talk to him right now”. YN knew he was referring to Harry. “But when you’re ready… I think you should…he deserves to hear the truth…not just that you needed him…but why.”

YN looked up at him, eyes still filled with tears and worry. “What if it’s too late?”.

Louis smiled faintly, nudging her shoulder gently with his. “If there’s one thing I’ve learnt…it’s that when it comes to you two…it’s never too late”.
