An arrow struck a wounded place

Fun things, just my thoughts 🤔

Quaritch was shot in the arm by Spider, and later, when trying to rescue him, he was unable to lift him, symbolizing his ineffectual attempts to connect with his son, which manifest in twisted, flawed treatment even when he has good intentions.

Neytiri was shot in the back by Varang (who channels grief in a destructive way) in the same spot as Neteyam, mirroring son’s wound, which symbolically represents her wounded heart after his death.

Jake was shot in the leg by Ash warrior, which can be seen as a symbol of his past disability and a current weakness fueled by his past. May also allude to the biblical story of Jacob, who was left with a damaged leg after wrestling with God for a blessing.

As someone previously noted, everyone was shot on their dominant side: Quaritch and Jake are right-handed, while Neytiri is left-handed.

All of these shootings happened before the character’s inner healing, or, in Quaritch’s case, before giving himself time for it by escaping death at Neytiri’s hands.

More Lo’ak and Jake fluff because we need more of it after the emotional turmoil that was A:FAA. Please, I beg you, they need to hug in the next movie and talk out their issues.

What is to say that the na’vi do not think the same in some way?

Humans find the na’vi attractive because of their tall slender built, non existent waist,big eyes and cat like features.

What if the na’vi have different beauty standards?their gravity makes them taller so maybe being short is something sought after, or maybe they find love handles to be eye catching or maybe they even like smaller eyes that remind them of their ikrans?

Beach trip with the parents, While the kids are babysat by norm and trudy-

Tom: Hey guys, what do you think about making that beach trip an annual thing? Tonowari, Jake, and Tsu'tey: No! Y/n: Alright, that’s it, you guys. What happened out there? Jake: What? We took a walk. Nothing happened. I came back with nothing all over me. Y/n: What does that mean? Tom: Come on, what happened? Jakey? Tsu'tey: Alright- Jake: No. Brother, we swore we’d never tell! Tonowari: They’ll never understand! Tsu'tey: But we have to say something. We have to get it out. It’s eating me alive... Tonowari: Jakesully got stung by a jellyfish! Jake: Alright! I got stung. Y/n,Neytiri and Ronal: EW!! Jake: You can’t say that! You don’t know! I thought I was gonna pass out from the pain. Anyway, I tried, but I couldn’t... bend that way. So... *looks at Tonowari* Tom, Y/n,Neytiri and Ronal: Ew! Tonowari: That’s right. I stepped up. They’re my friend and they needed help. If I had to, I’d pee on any one of you! Tonowari: Only, uh, I couldn’t. I got stage fright. I wanted to help but there was too much pressure. So, I, um, I turned to Tsu'tey...

As the group looks at Tsu'tey now , Tsu'tey is in the corner of the room, holding your pillow to his face as he screams in horror...

Tsu'tey: Jake kept screaming at me, “Do it now. Do it. Do it now.” Sometimes, late at night, I can still hear the screaming- Jake: That’s because sometimes I just do it through your wall to freak you out~

Heey, I'm back!

Bringing you a ref sheets of my first ever Avatar OC because now I have the confidance to talk about her.

Her name is Marina. She is Jake and Tom's childhood friend. They all used to hang out at her uncle's (who himself was a scientist and a calleuge of Grace Augustine) cabin untill he left for Pandora.

Mara was preparing for the Avatar program with Tom. She wished to join her uncle's work and explore

Marina is so superstitious. She believes in omens, carries pretty rocks for luck and can't go anywhere without her lucky glasses (she likes them and can't see a thing without them). And she often has weird prophetic dreams she can't understand the meanings of. And things only got weirder for her when she arrived on Pandora

She's quite shy and fearful of hights, she finds comfort in making something with her hands, like simple weaving.

I have a fanfic cooking up about her. It's Tsu'tey x OC kind of work

Tom and Neteyam both accomplished strong things at young ages. Tom had a PhD. and was set to go to Pandora at just 22, while Neteyam completed his iknimaya and dream hunt at 15, which I believe is on the younger end. If their parents played favourites, they would've been the respective golden children.

Meanwhile, Jake and Lo'ak tend to be hot-headed people who get into fights, such as Jake with Tsu'tey or Lo'ak with Aonung. Plus, they both bonded with creatures considered dangerous.
