Anyway!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️ This ask actually made me hella happy. Also I promise you I think about him constantly lmao I just don't talk/draw/produce much bc laziness but I treasure all of my OCs so much and they're always on my mind (I genuinely have so many from all the fandoms I like... like I have The Lion King and The Jungle Book and Tailspin and Amphibia and MLP and Hazbin/Helluva OCs/lore and so many more that I never even mentioned out loud but they're in my heart) so this means even more to me

I actually dug into my art folder to find and touch up smth I did of him semi-recently to thank you for your ask so here you go!!

I think I never fully wrote down all I have about him so I figured I might as well do it now so I hope you enjoy reading all these (or not which is also fine):

- He was conceived via an old magic mirror that was meant to help queens/kings that struggled with conceiving a biological child to keep the bloodline going. Basically it combines the DNA of those who stand in front of it at the same time into a child (or into an egg, in his case). Rasticore and Toffee had no idea what the fuck happened when they stood in front of it by chance so he was an accident child by all means. But also that means that biologically he has two fathers (more on that bellow)

- When they figured out why the fuck the mirror produced an egg and realized they'd have an actual child together, Toffee wanted to smash it because he was too focused on murdering Star (after he'd come back from being goo). But also because he and Rasticore were in a really weird spot because they were sorta-exes sorta-still-in-love but Toffee was too focused on revenge while Rast had no clear direction in life anymore so like "maybe let's not have a child together and make it weirder". But Rasticore felt way too bad about killing a kid (especially bc he hadn't seen a septarian egg in AGES) so he promised he'd keep it away from Toffee after it hatched and they'd go on separate ways eventually

- when it hatched and the baby was born, Rasticore named him Venom mostly bc of the character (one time he'd stayed with Star and Marco on Earth and he got hooked on the Venom movies so it was the first thing that came to his mind). But also he secretely chose that name because Komodo Dragons have a venom gland and he thought the kid deserved to have SOMETHING that tied him to Toffee. Like it or not, Toffee WAS his also his dad, yknow. Rasticore felt bad that Toffee just rejected their kid. He never told Toffee that part tho

- Because he was conceived through a magic mirror, Venom is 100% a magic creature, as opposed to his parents/mewmans that are just regular creatures. What they didn't know is that the reason the mirror stopped being used by royalty was bc all the kids it created would end up with weird magic "quirks". For Venom, when he was a baby, he would unintentionally teletransport every time he sneezed. And teletransport whoever was holding him at the time. This "power" eventually wore off after he was around one.

- One time he sneezed when Marco was holding him and the two spent three days trying to get back home bc Marco didn't have any scissors with him (it eventually worked when Marco made him smell pepper and got him to sneeze again). At one point, he was trying to play with Toffee's tail and before Toffee could kick him away (be he wanted nothing to do with the kid) he sneezed and Toffee ended up stranded with him somewhere strange. Toffee knew Rasticore would kill him if anything happened to Venom so Toffee reluctantly took care of him until they managed to get back. Which was when he eventually bonded with the kid. It still took him a while to get over the whole thing (in the end he and Rasticore would end up together again once all peace had been restored and all) but he started warming up to the idea of having a kid of his own while they were alone and he had to care for him. Venom especially enjoyed snugging on Toffee's hair like a nest to warm up.

- Rasticore was kinda "split" because he was friends with Star/Marco (and Star especially LOVED baby Venom) but he also was devoted to Toffee while Toffee planned on killing Star. Venom would eventually be what helped bring them all together. He helped Star and the mewmans see monsters beyond "monsters" when they saw Rasticore being a father, and Toffee warmed up again to Star and Marco when they saved Venom's and Rasticore's lives. It didn't heal or erase the past, but it helped them move forward.

- At one point Star thought of erasing magic (like in canon) to defeat Toffee, but if she did, Venom would be erased (since he is 100% magic). Rasticore begged her not to, but she couldn't bring herself to do it regardless, because how could she be so selfless as to kill a baby and other innocent creatures? So the only solution was to work through all they had done and try to get toffee to give up his revenge. Which he would eventually do, but it took a while

Anyway, after all is done and happy and nobody wants to kill anyone anymore:

- Lizards age a lot faster than humans, so Venom was a young adult in a short time, and Star constantly makes jokes about being his grandmother because she saw him grow up even tho he is now technically older than her

- Because he has two male parents, the mirror slightly messed up his DNA. He has gills on his neck (like Rasticore), but they are underdeveloped and have zero function so they don't really work. His regeneration power also isn't great because of the spell on Toffee at the time he was conceived.

- Toffee is really good at playing many instruments, and Venom was always amazed by the violin in special. He asked Toffee to teach him how to play it, but because of his underdeveloped gills, pressing the violin against them would always cause them to open and bleed out. Toffee tried to get him to give it up, but Venom was too sturborn, so he would just play through the blood and the pain

- He has never been able to play a full song from start to finish because it hurts and bleeds too much and forces him to stop, but he never gives up. He wants to one day be able to play a full song so he and Toffee can play a song together in a violin + piano duet, more specifically this one. Toffee tries to convince him to stop but deep down also admires the persistance

- Rasticore doesn't care much for the music side of it but seeing that Venom spent a lot of the time on the violin, he forged a blade to the end of his stick so that Venom would always have a weapon on him in case someday someone caught him by surprise while playing. Rasticore is 100% paranoid and overprotectice, while Toffee is more of a "be home whenever" parent. Or tries to be.

- Everyone agreed to never tell Venom that Toffee rejected him at first and considered smashing his egg, but Toffee every once in a while has night terrors about accidentally killing Venom or letting it slip. He stopped playing piano for months after he had a dream that Venom bled to death on top of it, and only played again because Venom begged him to so they can eventually play together when Venom manages to play the violin till the end

- Venom would eventually get to be ambidextrous because of how often he'd switch sides while playing to be able to endure the pain for longer and keep playing

- After Toffee and Rasticore got together again, they flipped a coin to see who'd get to be celebrated on actual Father's day and who'd get to be celebrated on Mother's day so they can both have a day. Toffee got mother's day

- Venom often joins Star and Marco in other dimensions, or sometimes comes with them to Earth, especially on Halloween where he can walk around without worry.
