A lot of people think MHA is cringe because of how bad the fandom got, specifically in relation to people shipping every character with every other character.
But I think Horikoshi literally just managed to infuse some typa drug into that shit to make all the potential pairs endearing in some way.
I thought I wouldn't be shipping characters as much during my rewatch since I'm older, I'm more reserved with my thoughts, I'm more thoughtful about which traits and characters complement each other. As one does. Apparently I was a fool to think I could resist. Because at first, as expected, Uraraka was cute with Midorya, then I opened my eyes to the kacchako vision, not long after I was reminded of my love for todochako, then noticed that Toga and Ura are the most doomed yuri to ever doom, saw that Iida would be a charming match for her, thought she'd be silly with Momo, and the list goes on.
That's only for one fucking character. Everyone is cute with everyone and I simply cannot stress enough that MHA was made for multishippers. I have never been a multishipper, it is made to make you one.
ShoIzuOcha au where itâs just a reenactment of Ferris Buellerâs Day Off, and Midoriyaâs Ferris, Uraraka is Sloan, and Todoroki is Cameron. But they are all dating each other because I want to and I can. This is all so I can make one (1) pun about the itâs your fire not his line
Fun fact! It took me a million years to learn all the Mha charactersâ names, so while I was still figuring them all out I nicknamed Todoroki Cameron, because of the shared daddy issues + same genre of âdeeply strange personâ. Also I was trying to think who would be Jeanie, and then I thought âShigarakiâ for reasons that are partially an mystery and partially because I once read a really good Tomubro fic and their siblinghood was forever ingrained upon my mind as a result, and I decided to just go with it. and Dabi is the really high dude from the police station purely for comedic value.
I drew this to appeal to me specifically, and the target demographic enjoyed it so I think I can count this as a success lol.
