We decided to grow mostly vegetables and fruit this year, but I did tell Caius he could choose some flowers. Tada! #cindercraftdesign #pyrography #woodburning #garden #gardening #spring #finally #vegtablegarden #fruitbushes #gnome #toddlerthings #toddleradventures #toddlergarden #flowers #Caius #greenthumb

Today felt like such a small moment—but also such a big one in my mama heart. 🤍
My little girl, now 2 years and 1 month old, sat on her potty and tried to poop. May diaper pa siya, yes… but she sat there, stayed, and actually tried to “umere.” And just like that, something we’ve been gently teaching and reminding her every day… slowly clicked.
I don’t know if other moms will understand how emotional this feels. It’s not just about potty training. It’s about seeing her learn, seeing her listen, and realizing that all those quiet, repetitive reminders are planting something in her little mind.
We’ve been taking it slow. No pressure. Just guiding, encouraging, and trusting her timing. And today, she showed me that she’s getting there—one tiny step at a time.
I found myself smiling a little longer, holding that moment a little tighter. Because these are the days I know I’ll look back on… the simple, ordinary days that quietly become milestones.
My baby is growing. And I’m so, so proud of her. 🤍🥹
My sister and I had to buy science goggles for our university courses. We decided to test whether or not they were one-size-fits-all, as science students do.
Hypothesis: they will fit adults, but not children
Materials: 1 pair of glasses, 1 toddler (in this case, average sized female.)
Methods Put the glasses on the toddler, and let her enjoy them. Then, chase her around the house begging her to give them back.
Results: glasses fit toddler well, but fell off if she looked down. They were a bit big, but seemed comfortable. Toddler loved them too much to let go, but gave the glasses to her great-grandmother to try on. No chasing required!
Conclusion: 1. one-size-fits-all really will fit all ages.
2. My niece really likes glasses, even science ones. And she looks great in an oversized lab coat too.
FYI @taylorswift, my two year old just called you Elsa!
She refers to any princess as 'Elsa' so, just so you know you've just received the highest of compliments from Miss Amelia Juliet.
