This distinctive red, brown, and gold doublet was first seen being worn by Toby Regbo in a promotional image for πΉππππ in 2013, though the piece is not known to have been worn in the show itself, and may originate with an earlier production. Β The costume eventually found its way into the @TaylorSwift music video for π»ππ ππππ ππ πΆππππππ, where it was worn by @Whyleyy as a pirate. The piece was changed slightly, with the ties worn much looser. A panel of red velvet appears to have been added along the bottom of the doublet to give it additional length.
