I like it. It's very rushed but I think I just got the basics of what I want in.

I want to upload my idea for their aged up designs eventually.

Did I mention I love yearning in relationships? No? I don't care who does it but it's very sweet.

I'm pondering whether I should redo this in digital or traditional art since I have more control over the lighting in the drawing in digital

On the other hand I could use it to force myself to practice light in traditional art like I've always wanted🥲

Kind of!#Ignore the backlog shhshshhhhshh I'll get to it eventually lol - for now it's nostalgia!#I finally tracked down and rewatched the original Wordgirl two minute shorts collection - they're surprisingly hard to find!#But since I've been using the Internet Archive more recently Anyway - I figured I'd look and there they all were :D #They really are soooo nostalgic to me <3 I still remember as a kid being totally blown away by the idea of interstitials with continuity lol #Really it's just chopping up an episode into even littler pieces to go in the place of ads - PBS babeyyy - but it had never occurred to me!#More cartoons between my cartoons... Wow...#The fact that it was about an alien girl who likes to use big words - I mean that already had me sold And Then #Nerdy frenemy love interest /and/ an internal-duo'd mad scientist? Truly say no more #Hmm I wonder where some of my tastes for future faves were cultivated.... I suppose it will forever remain a mystery lol #To be fair I was already predisposed to like internal duos as MKR put its finger on that a few years before Wordgirl but still!#I unfortunately don't have most of my old Wordgirl art onhand at this point - I remember drawing some of it! Not a Lot but some haha #I had been drawing On Purpose for a few years by that point so I would doodle them from time to time :) I'm sure on a lot of homework lol #Wordgirl's hood/helmet has always confounded me... It's simple shapes and looks fine in the style of the show but adapting it....#I've always preferred her look as Becky I think she's so cute ♪#Since I've been re/watching - I haven't seen quite a lot of the main series actually! Some are familiar but a lot are new to me!#I vaguely remember watching on TV all those years ago - being Very excited when it was picked up for a full show haha -#But of turning it off if the episode wasn't a Tobey or Two Brains episode lol - I knew who my favourites were!#That said Mr. Big has been the surprise fave of my this-time-around watching :0 Haven't drawn him much but I do like him!#But! Anyway! Lol - since I started catching up I actually had a dream about Becky with puppy ears which I thought was cute hehe ♥#I love how both of my villain big-favourites are inventors with a bowtie haha they're such nerds <3 #I still really enjoy this show quite a lot :D The villains are a wonderful spectrum between silly and intelligent and friendly and evil haha #It's all very endearing <3 Everyone has their particular quirks and they're all fun to watch :3
