Douxie- Halfbreed (Human/Faun)

+He looks mostly human, his faun traits consist of his ears and antlers

+His mother was human and his father was a faun. He was raised in Camelot by his mother.

+His presence in the human city was tolerated because Merlin could vouch for him, claiming he saw potential and needed an apprentice anyway

+Merlin and Morgana agreed to perform an Immortality spell together, and, as Merlin’s apprentice, Douxie got dragged into it

+After Merlin was put to sleep and King Aurthur was gone, Douxie had no one left to justify him being there, people turned on him, so he fled and lived in a Magicfolk sanctuary he’d heard about from Merlin in a different realm for a long time

+Occasionally he’d go back to the human realm throughout history, disguised with a glamor enchantment. Modern day, he doesn’t need one and he’s happy to be able to be himself.

Zoe- Elf

+She’s immortal, but she didn’t want to be

+Afraid of being alone for eternity, Douxie had basically begged her to let him make her immortal, and she eventually gave in

+After outliving everyone she knew and loved, she stayed mad at Douxie for a long time

+She’s still a little mad at him, but now she understands where he was coming from back then

Mrs. Janeth- Neko

+With the stereotypes her species has, she works very hard to get where she is, therefore she is incredibly supportive and defensive of Krel when he gets accused of cheating because she has been in that exact position before

Señor Uhl- Bull/Cow Satyr

+Like more specifically a Spanish Fighting Bull, he has that shape of horns

+He did used to be a soldier in a satyr clan, though he ended up leaving for the human realm after negotiations with two rival clans turned violent and almost ended horribly

+He’s a good fighter, but he’s a lot more happy and comfortable with teaching

Coach Lawrence- Human

+Coach being human is a big part of why Steve has such a hard time opening up to him when he starts seeing Steve’s mom, and Coach is aware of that

Kubritz- Human

+Honestly what else would she be, someone so hateful towards other intelligent species could only be human

+She also hates Magicfolk, but it’s more of a “tolerant of their presence but very prone to micro aggressions against them” type of hate

+She does have Magicfolk working at 49-B though, she’s not too happy about it but she personally didn’t hire them

Stuart- Durian

+People have seen his true form; he’s just assumed to be a shapeshifter that’s really into sci-fi

of course the ONLY time the akiridions meet the trollhunters is when there is a freaking TIME LOOP of all things. i hate that sm, bc it also had development for Aja

i also found it kinda weird how Blinky said that the only monsters were humans when Vex called him a monster, and Jim said nothing?? i'm not the only one who finds that weird right??

i forgot how innthe birdie episode that everytime anyone said "birdie" an eagle sound played 😭 like okay sure 😭

i love love love how Senor Uhl was so defensive of aja and krel, especially when Birdie kind of compared them to "illegal aliens." i keep forgetting about the little hints of racism in this

i also liked how at the end Aja "stole" Toby's line, and Shannon once again dropped her volcano. may it rest in piece(s)

i rewatched some of the 1st season of trollhunters and noticed how different Jim's voice sounded in D'aja Vu, but i think i'm definitely used to it by now so it doesn't bother me as much
