I found myself questioning myself and the ways of the Lord after reading this trilogy: What would I have done if I was Racheal? Why was God silent when she really needed answers and direction concerning that marriage? Was it a test? And why will God test his daughter with so much a painful experience? I concluded that the ways of the lord are unpredictable, why he allows us to go through things is best known to him, but one thing I know is that we always come out stronger than we were. It's heart-wrenching when one dishes out counsel to others but has to battle pains within. Sometimes one is forced to ask if God really cares about one as the situation may seem like it isn't moving, but in the end, Jehovah knows his purpose and will work it out. I must say that this is one book that resonates with most people, those at the edge of giving up on marriages and love. God ain't done with you yet. Thank you @ufuomaee for giving us this story. Honestly I pitied Rachel in the Rachel's Diary. She's just a woman looking for a man that possess good values and who is also a believer. She thought she has made the right choice, she thought he is God's will for her. Until she gets married and everything changed. Its clearly shows that choosing a life partner isn't by religion. He may be a staunch Christian but whose image is the man representing? Personality and religion are two different things. Her marriage took twist and turns but she still holds on to God. . . Alot of themes to watch out for, fatherly love, true love, frenemies( bad friend), true friendship, motherhood, mumpreneur, deciet, infidelity. Infact this Novel is loaded. You will read this book and your jaw will drop, especially the ending part, e shock me ooo😳😳. Can't wait to read Rachel's Hope, she deserves to be happy. . It opens your mind to things about marriage as well as God. An extremely powerful book that tell the story of a woman’s life, Rachel. From choosing a life partner to getting married and struggling to maintain that marriage; about motherhood; about being thrown into a depressing and terrifying position, her life as a Radio Presenter in relationship didn’t prepared her for all the challenges she will face in her marriage. This book had me emotional for all the right reasons, at a point, I started asking myself; did she make the wrong choice? Or was it meant to be? The writer did a good job with this book, I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't benefit from reading it. In this second installment of the trilogy, we followed Rachel's life as a married woman after she settled down in marital life. There is a lot to unpack and lessons for both single and married folks alike but I will focus on three major ones. - Boundaries: So many instances and situations can have been prevented by setting boundaries, needless to say this is important in any type of relationship with humans. - Communication: Communication style and conflict resolution skills is essential in relationships. - Purpose: Never let life's challenges stop you from pursuing purpose  Grab your copy of the three books. As you can see, I even took pictures, haha! 😄 🎀 So, a couple of months ago, I read Rachel’s Choice; the first of the NAIVE WIFE Trilogy and had a great time reading that as well. Oh, it was so good. I will share lessons on that another time. 🎀 I’ve said this a couple of timess, I am usually a fast reader, but it took me a whopping eight days to finish this particular book. However, I stuck with it because the story gripped me. My only issue is that it doesn’t really end the way I want it to, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Lol... Maybe after reading, you might like the ending. 🙈 Not to give out any spoilers, but Rachel’s Dairy is an incredible book and really a great read for everyone, single and married. It will challenge you in every area of your life including your relationship with God, marriage, keeping great friends you can count on, fighting temptation and turning pain into purpose. 🎀 If you haven’t read any of Ufuomaee’s book, you should. You will be impressed at how she portrays characters facing real-life challenges and tests to their faith in a way that seemed real and powerful, without feeling contrived. 🎀 So overall? Rachel’s Dairy is definitely a five-star read for me. I'm looking forward to the next book Rachel’s Hope. 🎀 @bukola_ewedairo recommended a book by Mama Jumoke Adenowo. Thanks egbon.
