A fan reincarnates as Kim Hajin, regaining her/his memories as a child. They only read the manhwa and only know out-of-context light novel spoilers including the ending of The Novel's Extra, knowledge mostly from Fanfiction. Luckily, Hajin was a writer in his past life, a fantasy writer, so they write Returnee Hero, giving their own spin and even writing in Kim Chundong as Kindspring. He gives himself breaks and works on other stories to not gain burnout. He wonders if the Co-Author will reset things to the same way they were in Novel's Extra or if it will roll with the version the reincarnated Hajin made. Hajin wonders if the Co-Author will interfere at all. Hajin was also surprised to find out that Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk were his parents in this reality. He wonders why the Oldest Dream changed his mind upon Hajin's birth, wonders if Dokja will go back to that train if and or when the Co-Author comes in and takes Hajin away, if it means bringing Hajin back to their world.
