The Novel's Extra and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Writing Prompt
I don't know if this is canon, but going off the idea that as the years spent in his novel passes Kim Hajin slowly forgets things about his parents, an au where Kim Hajin's parents are Kim Dokja and Yoo Jonghyuk...
And Hajin slowly forgets about them, facts about them, their hobbies, their likes and dislikes. He forgets his family and begins to believe he actually is an orphan. Kim Hajin constantly finds himself reminding himself that he has parents, that he has a family - that he isn't Kim Chundong who lost his family to the Kwang-Oh Accident.
Then one day, while Hajin is getting ready for a joint rescue mission with Kim Suho as Fenrir and is mapping the area out in preparation, he runs into two individuals - one in a white coat and the other in a black one. They look familiar, something tickling the back of his mind, but Kim Suho's call on the comms draw his focus back on the mission, and Fenrir asks the two to get off the roof, he needs it for the mission. Hajin focusing on the mission, providing cover for Suho as he rescues people (writer decides what the situation is that leads to a joint search and rescue between guilds) and giving information, ignoring the two older adults' attempts at talking with him, tells Kim Dokja and Yoo Jonghyuk the dreadful, agonizing truth:
Kim Hajin has forgotten them, forgotten the Star Stream and where he's come from, his family, but still has the hope, the want, of returning home.
