Howdy! The fic I'm looking for is set during Nona the Ninth. The description will include Gideon the Ninth and Harrow the Ninth spoilers. ૮( °ヮ° )ა

I cannot recall the name of the fic or it's author, but this is what I do remember: Posted on AO3. Camilla POV, epistolary with bits of narration, very Camilla Hect & Palamedes Sextus centered. Nona and Pyrrha Dve may be mentioned or even speak but these are likely minor appearances. One chapter. Not a ficlet, not a drabble. Written in English. I read it between late match and late may of this year.

The plot revolves around Camilla repeatedly and deliberately handing control to Palamedes as a way to dissociate. He shows concern in their shared notebook, she doesn't write back. This is very upsetting. After many pleads from the warden, she reluctantly underlines his words back to him as a way to answer. Takes place in one day (probably).

There is a scene where Camilla comes back to find herself in the bathtub, in the notebook says something like this: Washed: hair face everything else She takes this as a cue to complete the rest of the task herself. This may be the point where she is ready to answer. Palamedes was very, very worried.
