#tk's intro

I think a bit of an introduction is in order. I’m TK, I’m 23 years old until April and I’m currently pregnant with my first child. I’ve been studying since I was about 14 and practicing since about 18 years old. Unfortunately when you are a non-Christian living in a very Christian household, things can get a little difficult. 

I would practice and read and study as much as I could in a discreet way while living with my parents. (Though there was that one time I was caught with my first Tarot deck and then my very Catholic step mom nearly ran to the church to get the Father.) 

At 19 I joined the military. At the time it was the best choice, it got me on my feet financially, away from my family. I’ve been to Turkey, France and Germany, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately overall the military and I don’t really see eye to eye and so, after 4 years, I’m getting out. 

I’m married now and my husband is incredibly accepting of not just me as a person but of everything that comes with me. The weird books, the strange things I write down, my beliefs. I couldn’t be any more lucky. So now, though he’s staying in the military (and that means moving a lot) and with me being pregnant, I may not be able to have an altar set out all the time. (Baby’s grab things. And this is a small house.) I can at least FINALLY put together a Grimoire/BoS/BoM that won’t be destroyed or scrutinized by higher ranking individuals doing dorm inspections.

So to make a long story boring: I’m finally free to be myself and put together the Grimoire I’ve always wanted, and that is what this blog will be about. Aside from my need to reblog things I like of course.
