The serpents home is not a place most visit without good reason, but even so, the unexpected visitor from time to time emerges. On this occasion, it’s a young woman. Her pink hair flowing like a ribbon behind her, each movement causing another flick that the serpent watches as a cat might the flick of a tassel. Something more akin to a hunter. For she didn’t belong here, had no invite, and walking in to an occupied den was asking for some trouble. Especially since they did not know her mother or father were two rather legendary shinobi.
They don’t know whether she has stumbled upon their home by happenstance and became dangerously curious of the hideout, or whether she had arrived here for business, personal or an assignment. Either way, she hadn’t been given permission from the viper, and the Hokage had not sent any warning of visitors. As such, her intrusion is seen as just that.
With a movement as fluid as water, their slender form has appeared near hers. When her direction has started to shift toward the serpents children. Small and not yet opening their eyes, the tanks submerging them keeping the little ones safe and developing. Strangers were not permitted near their young. A sharp blade is pressed to her neck, while her back is pressed to the wall. Despite the nature of this hostility they demonstrate, a smile still brings up the corners of their lips.
“I don’t recall giving you permission in to my home dear,” they hum lightly, “with what entitlement do you believe you are welcome here?”
If the Hokage had sent her, she would merely need to flash a signed warrant giving her full rights in to their abode. For the viper lost their right to privacy from the Hidden leaf, spontaneous checks a common occurrence. As were drop ins from the Hokage himself. All the same, they could fix their harshness with an apology, but only if she could provide such a form, or a valid reason for why her blood needn’t be spilled.
