how to save money as a student as a student, we all know how hard it is to save money since we still don't work. whenever we want to buy something, we just cant because of our "brokeness" hahha. well, I'm here to save you from that problem. here are some tips. 1. Save from your lunch money/school money. this is your source of money. I mean I'm sure our parents give us money. do this everyday or everytime you go to school hahah. this would be your motivation to go to school hahaha. 2. The $1 challenge. this challenge means that you need to save $1 everyday from whatever source of money you have. whenever you buy something at the store or somewhere and there's a $1 change, keep it and pretend that you don't see it or it doesn't exist. idk what's the uncommon money in the U.S. but in Philippines, it's 50 pesos. 3. refrain from going out if you know it means spending money. if you have friends that always likes to ask you if you want to go out with them, the answer is a big "NO". well, I know going out with them is fun but remember, you're saving money and you don't want to hate yourself in the end just because you don't have money left anymore. 4. budget your money. every week, I buy my own food for snacks in school a.k.a. recess because I don't want to buy at our school canteen, it's too expensive and tastes .. whatever. but it's on you if you want to buy your snacks or whatever. anyway, budget your money, like this money's for my lunch, this money's for my snacks, and this money's for my savings. get it? 5. find your inspiration. ofc, everything you do needs inspiration. whether it be in drawing, in your test or anything. in saving money, you'll need inspiration too. simply ask yourself, "What am I saving for?" "how much more do I need?" 6. bring your own lunch and snacks to school. I secretly bring my lunch and snacks. I don't tell my parents because if I tell them, they wont give me money anymore because they know I have lunch and snacks.  7.  leave your money/wallet at home or simply leave it in your bag and pretend that it doesn't exist. get my reference? it's from harry potter hahaha. I don't bring my money, I leave it in my bag or sometimes, in my locker. also whenever you feel like buying something in the canteen, don't think about your money. remember, you don't have money hahahah. 8. separate your savings with your money because if it's in the same place, you'll see the money that you're saving and you'll be tempted to use it. I really hope I made sense. I feel like I didn't. I cant find the words. like it's on the tip of my tongue but I cant. anyways, I hope this helped you. so yeah.
